Bioware couldn't even keep a cohesive narrative across all three games. Bad writing will kill the Mass Effect series(for me, anyway). The writing in Mass Effect 2 and 3 was appalling, but at least Mass Effect 2 had strengths away from the main story. Mass Effect 3 was unsatisfying and laughable at almost every turn.
