It makes good conversation but the prices does not matter,
give it a short time and people like Amazon will be selling it for much less then rrp as well as other retailers undercutting each other.
I am really lookng forward to it on ps4, i have avoided the dlc and gives me a great reason to go back and enjoy such a beautiful title. Supporting these games also makes a great case for follow up titles, as long as companies see success they will keep making them....

I have no doubt all you say, valve are rich and independant, as i say though that is not the feeling they give out.
If they did i am sure it would only benefit them for only a kickstarter in a short time they have become so much more then even palmer thought.

Tablets are not truly game centric, everyone owns them as they are replacing pc and laptops for the average user. Slowly they are also becoming gaming machines for atleast the casual gamer.
Handhelds are directly aimed at gamers.

I would be very suprised valve took them over, the recently had a huge investment of $75 million ontop of what they already have and made from the dk1 and previous investment
Oculus is palmer and nates dream, maybe sometime in the future but i really do not get that feeling off any of them there this is the direction oculus is being taken in

It is still soo early in this gens cycle and plenty of time to bring these games alive.

Sony have plenty of their own content to put on before they even have to pay out others.
They are so much more then nexflix service, they are 1st party developers, own a huge back catalogue since the 90's, a large indie developer following i am sure would love their content reaching many more devices and being paid.
That will help bring more and more 3rd party into the service, its another source or revenue in a time when money can be very tight for compa...
