Not having game breaking bugs?
People with 4090s are struggling to consistently hit 30fps, much less 60fps with all settings on low. This game as horribly "optimized" and needed more time in the oven. It's crazy we live in a time where consoles are getting a more stable and smoother experience day 1 than high end PCs
Honestly, I think it was the right call. The PSVR2 is about the only piece of hardware I have bought in the last couple of years that I was able to get day 1 without having all the stock bought by scalpers. Now that that initials rush passed, it should be pretty easy for people to find it in retail.
Who knows. Not like MS has ever revealed proper numbers for anything. 😆
Who's even buying retail copies of this? Isn't it going to be on Gamepass?
EXACTLY. With this decision Xbox players lose NOTHING. If you're salty about this decision it just means you just wanted things to be worse for other players.
I think it's impossible to make a headset that is universally comfortable for everyone's anatomy. I've had the PSVR, Quest 2 and PSVR2 and I find the PSVR2 is about as comfortable as the PSVR1 with really good balance. The Quest 2 starts feeling very heavy for me after a long session. It sucks that some people are having issues with this.
I'm not a fan of Star Wars by any stretch of the word. But Jedi Fallen Order was superb and I'm incredibly hyped for this.
The guy definitely broke the law and deserved to be punished. But the whole pay Nintendo for the rest of your life thing I think falls under "cruel and unusual" punishment... Even if the guy decides to get his life straight he'll never have a semblance of normality again.
It must be exhausting watching everything through fanboy console war goggles. You people need to grow up and stop crying about this stuff on every article.
"Still around"... Haven't these guys been making strictly mobile games for over a decade? This is an odd article. Choosing a studio that clearly has no interest in making console games since 2011 and saying that's the people to move the Xbox brand forward in the jrpg market is kind of baffling.
Nice! I'll check it out. This article I read years ago was a real eye opener when it comes to just how massively influential Quake was.
https://www.rollingstone.co...
Wolfenstein is definitely influential, but during the Quake 1 days is when dedicated servers, clans, mods, and other staples of pc gaming really took off. It not only pushed the fps genre forward, but the whole pc gaming industry.
Not sure why Halo is in that list and Quake (the most influential and important fps of all time) is not lol.
Metal Gear wasnt mainstream until MGS. And the Binding of Isaac was definitely not mainstream. The Soulslike genre started with Demon's Souls and the only reason Dark Souls exists is because Demon's Souls was popular enough to warrant a "sequel". Demon's Souls was the genre defining game and Dark Souls literally was a game in the same genre. It's about innovation, not popularity.
I mean they should. People are just going to play it on Gamepass anyways so it's not like it's gonna affect "sales". But if the experience is not up to par people will try the game out on GP, then drop it and it'll be very hard to get people to give it another chance down the road.
"PCGamesN has contacted Bethesda with regards to the removal of Russian language support from Starfield and will update this story with any further information or comment."
There's no official statement on why it got removed. So it might or might not be related to the war in Ukraine.
He swung trying to kill the guy but the guy survived. The weird wording is probably a literal translation from Japanese.
But but but... Bloomberg said....
Soon we will get the "It's fun with friends" crowd who defend every mediocre, incomplete multi-player experience cause somehow chatting with their buddies while playing crap games makes everything A okay (i. e. Anthem).
