PS3 section removed; good article ....I think the cover system did start some time before Gears of War but it seems as though that game really made it mainstream and tweaked the cover system allowing gamers to use it more.....

Why is this crap continuing to get approved, oh ya its the same "four dead individuals", proof is in the pudding sirs and hiphopgamer is nowhere near the level of ign or kotaku, if we only look at their impact or time in the industry......I needed a good laugh today and this provided it!
I don't think they are saying the Killzone 2 alone convinced them to buy a PS3 but that game along with other things the console actually does right was enough to get them to plop down the money....cmon fanboys, just stop!

Thank you man, I think the site probably got multiple e-mails of this sort and finally just decided to post one as an opinion piece, nothing else. It doesn't surprise me that this Hydro guy responded this way, how sad that N4G has turned into this, oh well....It doesn't even seem that the article has anything to do with HHG or his show, just these ridiculous news postings....

The conspiracy theory is not true, and I don't think the author is personally attacking HipHopGamer himself; just the news stories his so called "staff writers" produce, that is the problem, not the video show!
That's sad if this gets put into the "fail" category yet none of their ridiculous articles that are either copied or made-up do.....woe is me!
the videos are not the worst part of the site; and I doubt this article would have ever been written had hhg started posting the junk they do as news and then promoting it to the front page; what a shame!
there are arguments for that as well; this website however is currently ruining the professionalism of games journalism and it needs to stop; I think MOST of the N4G community would agree with this article....
I think the article does a good job of showing that the cover system was refined/improved upon in Gears of War and thus made it a main stream staple for video game developers all over the globe; no one can take that away from Epic Games.....90% of games would say the words Gears of War when asked about the cover system, just from generalities....
