I love my 360 a good bit but quoting Resolutions and affordability in the same comment is laughable. Odds are if you can't afford a 450 euro console then you can't afford the usual 900-1200 euro base level HDTV.
Also people who look at affordability generally can't see the missing pixels..... In fact no one can on a TV under 40 inches XD
......... As much as I want to love MSG4 I've finished the game and the cutscenes are ridiculous. I can game for max 2 hours a day and frankly playing MGS4 is 3/4 cut-scenes and I get little or no time actually playing the game. I'm sure Kojima is some kind of misunderstood genius but I don't care! I play games I don't watch them. However the irony of the 'don't sit too close to the screen' thing while snake was smoking in the back-round was hilarious!

Wow take a screen capture! In Halo 3 which was released almost a full year ago you could take videos of everything you did in the game and move the camera around to take a pic from any angle.

The whole think just doesn't fit right! Like I love MGS but it's a hardcore game and a niche game at that. It's the Halo 3 argument, 'Everyone that wants it already bought the system.' Thats what where seeing now and frankly I don't care how good the are a story driven stealth action game will not shift more consoles than an FPS with the highest advertising budge...

Lets put it this way most people like MGS, including myself, some people don't. Case Closed.
....... It's not a great review it's an opinionated review. He should judge the game as a standalone product instead of talking about convoluted story arcs and finishing story lines. MGS4 probably does it better than halo where they just finished the story of the sergeant by having 343GS kill him. But everyone is entitled to their opinion and in my view 8/10 is still a very good score.
........... Personally I don't believe in scoring a video game a 10 as nothings perfect. IGN marked it down that .1 because of it's lasting appeal which basically means it's ridiculously good but it has a tiny flaw which I expect in most games.
Is an 8 no longer a good score? Also why does everyone here expect review site to get fans of the series to review MGS4, Like I'm fairly indifferent to MGS, loved 2 not so much 3.
