Exactly. You've taken the words right out of my mouth and you, my friend, have earned a bubble up vote for a 'well said.'
I was actually quite surprised when I read the announcement and there I was expecting people to tear up the streets and riot and whatnot and nothing happened. A few articles here and there reporting on the situation, but nothing about a protest or a boycott or a pledge to not give EA revenue, etc. I too have seen journalists make bigger deals o...
Aha! I've been waiting for ASM to have a feature. I've been talking about it nonstop to anyone who would listen.
Always Sometimes Monsters completely messed with my head. Absolutely loved it but absolutely hated it at the same time, haha. Great game overall though!
Good to know I'm not missing out on anything. Didn't much care for the last one and it seems like this one is exactly the same.
Good review!
Really good read, this. It was a great insight into the financial struggles of the indie universe.
Goats and dungeons. What a combination. Definitely something I'd enjoy and I love the arcade style look to it.
Interesting. I love the theme and the art style. But with the platforming and the sheep and the overall essence of it, it reminds me a bit of Catherine, which means I'll certainly enjoy EG2.
I think they're trying to allude to something about a pending goat invasion.
Awesome review, Cat & HonestDragon! I was looking forward to this one. I'll have to give this game a try while I'm still on my goat kick.
Goats are going to be taking over soon enough. I'm going to make it a point to befriend every single one of them that way I might maintain standing in the great goat empire.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed the interview! It was so much fun. Just as much fun as the game, actually. :D
I'm glad you guys liked the article! So much positive energy about the game, I could cry, haha! Such an amazing game. I'm glad everyone either likes it or is interested in it! :)
I'm glad you guys are so into Goat Simulator. It was such a fun experience to write about and I had so much fun with the interview! :)
Yeah, I mean sometimes I would think that maybe it was for the sake of the narrative, but I really felt that it should have been thought out some more.
(SPOILER ALERT)
It was kind of like, the game was so linear to the point that it almost sets you up for a fail because even when you think you're making the right decision and fess up to them later when questioned, you still don't get the "good" ending unless you pretty much back-pedal and say everyth...
I understand what you mean and yes, you're right, sometimes morally correct choices yield undesired results. However, in the review, I mentioned the [spoiler-free] bit of those outcomes underlining a "life is tough, deal with it" theme. Once you complete the story, you'll see what I mean. Whether that's truly an up or down would of course be up to your own determination. For me, it was a down, given everything that happens.
But then again, it also underl...
This is so exciting, I can hardly wait to see what everyone's been working on. :)
True, but I haven't played a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare 3. I'm just terribly biased, LOL!
Watch Dogs was an overall disappointment for me, compared to how it looked and felt at E3 in 2012. It was vastly different than implied and while I had fun for awhile with it, it left a stale taste behind.
You know, mentioning or talking about fanboys is just as annoying as the subject itself.
