@maruyuki: Your comparing some of the best looking games of last gen to some of the sub-part looking games of this gen. Compare Halo 1 graphically to the likes of Crysis or Killzone 2. It's a HUGE leap in graphics. The trend of graphics constantly improving hasn't seemed to slow down much.

Compare today's graphics with those just 10 years ago, and for an even bigger leap, 15 years ago. Your being pretty closed minded here. Graphics have had huge leaps in the past decade, and to say that trend won't continue is stupid.

That would definitely make sense, considering all the talk of a graphical wall we're about to hit. I guess 3D, increased immersion, and/or improved virtual reality are the next things to shoot for, with moderate improvements in graphics.

Price points in regards to value for the money. There's almost nothing you can do with the Wii. You can't even use it as a DVD player.. Wii U will be the same gimmick.
Nintendo needs to just give up. They aren't what they used to be. They've been outplayed by superior price points, superior value, superior tech, and better games. You Nintendo fanboys need to realize that Zelda and Mario rehashes aren't going to carry them through these coming gens.
