you can believe someone going through 10 360s, but don't believe someone going through multiple ps2s due to DRE? obviously you must be young, cause i been gaming a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ng time, and the ps2 DRE issue, while small, WAS a big issue for sony when the console first released due to faulty lasers. luck...

the casuals HAVE been moving from ps2 to wii.
remember. they are casuals. they dont care about the blues rays, or high definition radios and ubar graphics.
they like to play wii resort with the family once a month for 10 mins. then go back to watching gossip girl.

so a game sells 150k ps3 in jpn, 30k 360, then worldwide sells 2.5M for 360, 1.8m for ps3.

look i understand making a ps3 exclusive in japan only, but worldwide released it would be STUPID not to make it multiplatform

Activision could theoretically release stand alone guitar hero peripherals that can be played on your tv, and the casuals + few hardcore gamers still looking for their next GH fix would still buy it and make this a profitable idea.
