Funny you should say that, I felt the article did everything it could to show the cons of digital downloads. Especially when that gave the worst case scenarios for download times. basically, whether it was broken after the 1 year warranty was expired or not. When the unit was sent to MS, the case had been opened and the unit had been tampered with. Therefore, he voided the RROD portion of the warranty.

This entire story as to whether or not it could have been completely cleaned has peaked my interest. So I ran my own test. I took my 360 remote which is made of the same materials as the 360, with the same texture and same finish. Had MS put HD DVD players in all 360s, and blu-ray still won, instead of there being 55,000 people with dead HD DVD players, there would be 16+ million. Microsoft made and smart decision to do it the way they did it. Perhaps if the movie houses weren't so damn greedy, both formats could have lived.
