@floody
Your argument is basically "if you dont criticize unfinished games then you are an apologist", which is 100% fking retarded. Why should I even bother with that argument? funnier and more effective just to call you names.
@Liquid
dont be naive. I can play it on my Xbox One right now, can you say same of PS4? This is why so many known Sony fans are suddenly in this article making a big stink. You have to be completely stupid t...
Let's be brutally honest, here. You really just want everyone to dump all over this game because its an Xbox One timed console exclusive. That is absolutely 100% your motivations.
Actually Elite Dangerous on X1 was extremely choppy in beta, and has been massively improved. My Early access experiences are limited to pretty well just that.
I hope to God and his son Jesus that the reintroduction of the avatar store means that Full House Poker will finally get ported, backcompat and/or a full sequel on X1.
I havent watched the video yet, but there are obviously performance issues. However, the game looks great and is a ton of fun to play. Completely unique console experience unlike anything I've ever played, feels very fresh and fun to me. For that, I'll stomach some choppyness. Beggars cant be choosers.
I have put 20-30 hours into it and at no point did it seem unplayable to me. Rubberbanding is the worst issue I've encountered, and thats more to do with netcode th...
the things you say are true
For me some of the most formative PC games were Duke Nukem 2, Duke Nukem 3d, Doom, BF1942, Starcraft, CS1.6, Diablo 2. Also a ton of MSDOS stuff like Death Rally and Body Blows among others. Other random stuff like Space Bats, Where in the World is Carmon Sandiago, and Treasure Mountain.
I wish I could remember all the PC games I played as a kid. Have tried to track many of them down but its near impossible.
cant argue with more games. hopefully they've found a studio with some passion for the idea.
It does not lol. Sure, it runs poorly, but I cant recall many independent games that look this good.Not to mention that its wickedly fun to play. Great experience to have on consoles, feels fresh and interesting.
You suggesting that everyone commenting here wants a slim? lol. Reaching bud.
I already own an Xbox One and it works famously. Seems pointless to spend the effort and cash to get a new box. People comment because a new SKU is an interesting prospect.
I very much doubt you're interested at all in spite of what you have said.
It matters to you because you're a Sony fanboy. Xbox One looks fantastic below my TV next to my AVR, I love it. My PS4, alternatively, runs hot and is sometimes annoyingly loud. Cant remember the last time my Xbox One made audible noise during play.
So while your priorities may lie with how pretty things are (why am I not surprised?) other people prefer functionality and arent overly concerned with trivial nonsense..
I prefer my Xbox One to be all fat and VCR-like.
Yeah, The Order 1886 is all consuming. I've been playing it perpetually since release.
I'm looking at Garden Warfare 2 -> The Division -> Quantum Break. I think there will be one or two more in there as well.
Not the best looking game ever, but looks damn good. I think by now we all know basically what these consoles are capable of. Not sure why people are pretending to be upset by the visuals.
When I see one of those corn guys charging at me with that sneer on his face I always laugh. Game is so good.
Halo 8
the alternative is everyone buying expensive PCs, which will never happen.
super neato!
A "free pass".... lol. Wtf does that even mean? You feel obligated to pile on this early access game? Speaks volumes about the type of person you are.
