I will not buy it because I have found that playstation games are generally subpar and peripherals go unsupported before long.

Being an Xbox gamer is pure unadulterated joy to the Nth. Good time for Xbox gamers. If you love killing people in online multiplayer settings like I do, cant complain.
Counter Strike GO? friggen awesome. WAs hoping for native Xbox One support, but this will do nicely.

I knew you were actually just a good positive guy who wanted nothing more than for me to enjoy this game underneath all the malice and poor sportsmanship that you have demonstrated. completely different? lol. Halo has an arcade shooter feel, and UT is a incredibly fast-paced competitive shooter. I see a fast paced arcade shooter in Doom. THAT, my unsightly chum, is why.
Doom reminds me of a blend between Unreal Tournament and Halo, which can only be a good thing. Love the speed and fluidity.
Though really not many FPS games have been announced for this year. Doom is the only one I can think of. Hopefully Titanfall 2 or Battlefield 5 make an appearance. Or a new IP from MS' would be nice.
Looking good, though I still hate the bullet sponge enemies. Combat consists of running away to cover, taking shots as the enemy walks towards you, and then running away again and shooting more. Pretty much took all the tactical gunplay out of tom clancy games and left us with a grind.
I will probably buy this game, but my hype has hit the floor. Give my Wildlands.... true open world tactical shooting.
