I don't see why though I mean surley studios like ND who do all the motion capturing stuff could base a game around a comedy situation and have a pair of lead characters who are like those funny double acts in comedy films/tv shows. I mean if they can do it for a film/sitcom then surley they can do it in a motion capturing studio. The only thing you need to figure out is what story your going to go with where you can base comedy around it.
All I want is for Matthew Fox to play Shepard

I think people forget that Super Smash Bros was inspired from The Outfoxies.
Seriously I hate how people think SSB was the start of this genre. Nintendo copied another games and made it better in their own way, just like what Sony are doing.
I mean fans have been asking for a SBB type game for years, Sony has listened and are basicaly giving us what we want. So I wouldn't really say they are copying on purpose, just giving people what they want like any g...
@Genghis
Maybe you havent noticed mate but this game looks nothing like the first or second game.
I know right...they look like Skeletons
Reminds me of this

"Cindy...this is a Skeleton, this is bones would you run from Calista Flockhart"
This is what I like about ND, they push themselfs to create better games. They chose to have a desert setting in Uncharted 3 because it was hard to do sand particles and they wanted the challenge....this is why at the time I wanted them to get best studio at the VGAs...oh but I forgot, as much as I love them and their games, Bethesda won, despite Skyrim still being full of bugs.
I really hope The Last of Us is a one off game for ND...only because with how amazing it looks I w...
@crXss
You shouldn't have to make an atmosphere where the game will be scary...the game should of been developed that way.
Headphones in full blast with the lights off dosen't make a game scary, it's more like an excuse for Capcom to use.
I hate when people who have been with the franchise from the start in terms of it's development realise it's going down hill, say a comment like this but then end with something like...
"I have a lot of faith in the team and I’m sure they won’t disappoint the fans”
Why do people feel they have to end there criticism of a positive note, even Shinji Mikami did this when talking about RE6 when you can see he's just saying it incase he gets i...
You are going to be very dissapointed
Co-op is either the problem or part of it
The feature has always got to be the problem someway...you just can't have a survival horror game with the feature.
So it has to be the problem or part of it in someway.
If you want to fix something in life you must first get rid or remove anything which stands in the way of it being fixed.
You know I hear that argument a lot but it dosen't matter
Optional or not the game is still built up around co-op meaning if you play solo it's most likely to be crap. Imagine if RE5 had optional co-op it still would be bad because it was designed for two people.
Lets not forget that god awful character who is your partner, the typical soldier grunt who tries to be funny with his one liners but ends up being annoying, is still in the games story ...
Is this guy actually trying to justify the co-op and the over the top acrion pieces in DS3....wow iust wow
Give them the benefit of the doubt.....why, they must of saw the backlash from RE5s co op and yet they still did it. Come on, your basically bringing the backlash on yourself. They should olf learnt from Capcoms mistake.
Or...and bare with me on this
You waste your resources on the single player game, making it better and longer AND THEN was it's released you start to work on DLC.
I feel like Ubisoft are going to turn into Activison next gen. Once we see a slow decline in their games we'll know it's started. Hell look at Capcom one gen they're good, the next they are crap.
"and has some awe inspiring action that should give God Of War a run for its money"
"Remember when we said it looked better than Resi 4? Well you should believe us now."
...No...just no
Agreed...the list goes on. Theres so many things over the recent years you can use as an example, films or video games
I think it has to do with the Wii making making games more mainstream back when it released in 2006. Now it's hard to actually find someone who is really interested in games, people assume that if you play on the big block busters games, own a console, go on a few games to kill time...then your automaticaly a gamer even though theres more to it.
...
Do we really want games going more mainstream
The amount of people that I know who have went to see the Dark Knight Rises who...
A) Havent seen Batman Begins or the Dark Knight
or
B) Have never had an interest in Nolans Batman films
...has been unreal.
I suppose hype can make you do anything.
Same thing happens with games in a small way, how many people have a friend or know...
Why didn't he ask some questions about them ditching the old fanbase or how they've ruined about RE is all about. I would of loved seeing him trying to BS his way out of those types of questions.
"I don’t want to spoil anything about the game for you, but just like what I said about the C-virus, that really is the centerpiece of Resident Evil storyline. Its something I’m really proud of. Those zombies that you see in Tall Oaks aren’t the result of the T- or G-vir...
I think the problem with optional co-op is that the levels would still be designed with co-op in mind, which would make the game feel crap if you were going solo. It's like the DS3 argument, "Oh it's optional"...but it dosen't hide the other problems with the game or is going to make it better, it's going to be good the levels have still been designed with the feature in mind.
Honestly if they wanted two characters together again then they should of ...
Oh well if thats the case then I guess this makes things all better now....sorry Capcom for doubting you /s
ANYWAY
Like I'm going to beleive them...this is the start of the PR bullcrap now since they've realised RE6 hasn't went down well with the old RE fans.
Let the lies begin.
"“So we took a step back in RE 6 and how we were going to change that so that people don’t feel stressed like they did in Resident ...
Why does no one ever mention FRINGE.
With differn't cases being able to spilt the game into "chapters" it would be a great way to see the series continue. I'd rather have a video game then comic books like they did with Buffy
