The only people who thinks smartphones is a gaming device are people who have no thumbs.
It's like trying to play basketball without arms.

Casuals and their stupidity, thinking they're gamers.

Nintendo is a kids/casual brand.
It will probably win in sales because kids and their mommy will have one but real gamer will avoid it.

Real gamers prefer real games, not cartoon games with predictable AI.

As for the article, it's no surprise they would claim the Wii U a winner before there's any concrete spec list on all next gen console. It is a website full of little 10 year old nintendo fanboys after all.

I agree, no one know what the PS4 or next XBOX will be.

This article (from a nintendo fanboy website) about Wii U wining is based on speculation and rumors on the internet. It's factless and bias.

everyone wants this and that and this and that, and they want it for dirt cheap.
If Sony tried to please every idiot with a ridicules idea the PS4 will end up in the $999 range.

All I want is good games, that's why I bought a game console, to play games. I don't give a shit about facebook integration, or that cloud gaming crap.
I could care less if I can or can't go on the internet, that's what my damn computer/smartphone/tablet is for.

I'm pretty sure the crappy launch games played a role in the 3DS launch failures. And it being over priced also had something to do with it too.

Nintendo should be more worry about their fanbase, the kids and casuals are moving towards smart phones and tablets.

The used game market is fine the way it is, if you make good games it will sell.

If they decide to change or kill the used game market, I'm willing to bet piracy will go up.

That's all Nintendo really got going for themselves, every new console/handheld they recycle through their franchise.
While many nintendo fanboy think that this copy and paste tactic they use with their franchise is enough, real gamers don't see it that way.

They're all colorful kids games so nintendo do that to lure in the next gen of little kids, since nintendo's fanbase are little kids and soccer moms

Nintendo is a company that cate...

wow, such an angry person.

Most of Nintendo's new IP are crappy shovelware.
And new IP like the Conduit sold like crap.
Last I checked the conduit 2 sold a pathetic 200K. Their other so call hardcore title didn't sell well too.

5117d ago 5 agree13 disagreeView comment

And what makes you think the Wii U will be any different?
It's still nintendo, a company that caters to kids and grandparents.
They can talk about going hardcore, but I doubt they will, especially when the kids and casuals are making them so much money, it's nothing more than a PR move.

5118d ago 0 agree6 disagreeView comment

I doubt it will happen, hardcore games don't sell on the Wii.
Wii are reserve for kids/girls/casual games as Nintendo intended.

Look at all the so call hardcore game on the Wii, red steel mad world, the conduit, etc. They all sold like crap.

I agree, the only game I liked on the 3DS so far is resident evil revelaiton<---Crapcom spelling :)

The rest are colorful little kids games with predictable AI, or lame ports.

KH do look good, I hope they don't stink it up.

They both have a lot of 3rd party support.
The only problem is 99.9% of it was shovelware.

5121d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

They had it all this time??
Than why do they suck at it?

Interesting discussion in the comments.

I've never paid much attention to FAAD to begin with, but I can see why other developer see it as unfair.

I wonder why this article is here? This has nothing to do with consoles or handheld gaming

5122d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

lol...Nintendo doesn't know anything about the hardcore gamers.
Why do they even need to, the casuals and kids they cater to are making them a crap load of $$$$$$$.

Sure, no real gamer will buy their products, but who cares when soccer moms are throwing money at them for silly little games like My Pretty Pony

This might sound crazy to some of you but I'm planing to play PSP games on my..........PSP
I know, crazy right. But what's even crazier is I'm gonna play PS Vita games on my.........PS VITA.

Here's how I look at it. I'm buying a Vita to play Vita games, not old games that I can already play on my PSP.
What's wrong with keeping your PSP for PSP games?

My PSP is hacked and is a great emulation machine, I have no plans to ...

I think the lag problem is not that bad.
It's probably amped by haters to make it more than it is.

I was able to play through the game with my nord. Sure there was frame rate issues in towns, but not enough to stop me from playing the game.

I'm now on my third character, a dark elf.

What if the Vita had an Apple logo instead of Sony's?

Cnet will worship it and call it god's gift to man, and say $500 is a bargin while hoping for a new one every year.
Than they'll sacrifice their mom to please their apple god.

edit:
wow, just read the comments on that article and man the apple fanboys are delusional, way, way more than nintendo fanboys.

"Imagine the ps store full of 99cent games, along with psone classics which retail for $5, then add $9.99 psp games for download as well as regular psn titles and vita games. And simply give the vita owners access to all of these. "

But then you'll probably have a bunch of idiots saying it's useless because they already have it on their phones.

And those 99 cent apps are almost never 99 cents. In app cost on some app are up to $99.
And ...
