It's not the console, but the people in charge of the console. If I don't own an Xbox console is purely because of the way Microsoft handles product and the way they do business and think that making a game like Tomb Raider is going to make me go buy an Xbox One is plain stupid. It's moves like that one that makes me stay away from anything Microsoft related.
They have a very militant way of doing business and I won't support crap like that.

Interestingly enough, some indie titles have scored higher than any of the AAA games this year. Take a look at Velocity 2X for reference that just released.
Some people still have the wrong impression/definition of what AAA and indie means.

It's definitely not a mediocre game. It's a fun game very well worth the money but a bit overhyped.
I didn't know it was a PC exclusive. And I thought this would've been a 2015 release since they just announced it! I hope it turns out to be a good game and then see a console release at some point.
The more I read about this series, the more I get interested in it. I got Metro: Last Night on PS3 free with PS+ in February but never played it. Should I buy just Metro: 2033 Redux off the PS Store and then go play Metro: Last Night on PS3? I would save $25! or just get both PS4 upgraded versions on disc for $50??? 😐😑😒
Sony is going with an LCD screen for that same reason, to stay competitive in the market. I think Morpheus will be cheaper than Rift.
The Sony from a few years back would've gone with an OLED screen also but they need to make this price effective, consumer friendly like they are doing with most of their products now. It would be good if they gave us an option to get a version with an OLED screen for those of us who don't mind saving a bit more for better quality.
Considering it has an OLED screen, that alone will make it a bit pricey. I'm looking at a $300-$350 price range.
