Nothing better than a product that allows for variety and people's different tastes can be satisfied...for me however I was surprised to find that I bought a PS4 for the variety I don't get on Xbox One (and vice versa) and I find that I really don't care about a lot of the games that are on the PS4. That could just be that my tastes are not in line with the traditional Sony fan (grew up on Nintendo and Xbox).

Agreed. They've done a really great job "weathering the storm" still selling well, but the reputation thing has seemingly cast the Xbox One as destined to be #2, regardless of whether it's an amazing system or not. I have both PS4 and Xbox One and I gotta say both systems are amazing, it's not like the Xbox One is subpar or something. It's a PR thing and the fact that they were taken all wrong in the early Xbox One days.

definitely agree with you. Just trying to get into Phils head, I figure something like an Upgradeable Xbox would be something they would plan from launch and that would be marketed as such from the very beginning kind of thing. To introduce that halfway through the current cycle is something he doesn't like as it will divide the fanbase and confuse casual system buyers I guess.
My thinking on why he dislikes the idea right now anyways.
Gotta say I find it weird that Forza Horizon games always had fun song to drive around and race to, but regular Forza games are just total garbage in the soundtrack race and menu music! Will be nice to add in our own for sure!
Yeah, but even though the game had it's bugs, it was well worth it even today when it still takes 30seconds on PS4 sometimes to load the textures to Golmud, still worth every moment.
Pretty minor gripes for a game that IMO is second to none in terms of the action and fun at hand

Yeah I was fairly surprised to see no reveal as of yet, leading me to believe there is more going on than just another Modern day shooter....which would still be totally fine. Battlefield has always been the king of modern day shooters IMO
My alternate prediction is BF5 is a modern/near present day shooter, and will have an expansion much like they did with Bad Company 2 (w/Vietnam), they will have a WWII expansion.

DICE has a chance to revolutionize shooters again and make a WWII game with 64+ players doing D-Day style invasions and whatnot, no jets (love em, but would be a nice break). Would be amazing given what current tech can give us that could not be done before.
Current game with a newer version would be OKAY because BF 4 has INSANE LEGS on it and It never gets boring but I really want a DICE WWII shooter

@dcbronco well said buddy. Spot on. I really do think that even though Kinect was a failure for the consumer...like it was cool for a while, I enjoyed Kinect sports for the time being but it faded out real quick..they still sold a lot and can look at it as a stepping stone to the next project.
