Listen, I loved Horizon, I thought it was fantastic, but if somebody else tells me they thought it was garbage my first reaction is not to think they are liar that didn't play it, I just think "Well they don't like that type of game, oh well".

Same could be said of Sony fan's opinions of Xbox games.
There is a lot of unwarranted hate in both directions, but I see far more of it from the Sony side.
I have both platforms. I like and dislike games on both sides. But whenever I dislike a Sony game I get attacked and called an Xbox Fanboy amongst other things.

As someone who has spent a couple hundred hours playing through the first game multiple times, I think I know what I'm getting into buying this game. I had so much fun hunting, threatening, killing, and capturing orcs in the first game I can't imagine it is going to be some boring affair that I'm sick of doing after an hour.

I'm not going to support a game that looks awful over a game I know that I will love, just because YOU don't like the fact that it has optional microtransactions that won't cost me anything or have any effect on my enjoyment of the game.
As if they were even the same type of game that could be compared. This review said the game was six hours long and mostly puzzles, whereas Shadow of Mordor gave me something like 80 hours of playtime and was all about combat.

I'm not hoping for a change, the first game was amazing.
There are a lot of haters on this site, but don't let them fool you into thinking they are the majority. Destiny still has a huge following still to this day almost 3 years later.
This website's comments section seems dominated by single player type of gamers, to which a game like this holds no appeal.
