I watched the Bethesda conference, saw the official announcement, and haven't looked at anything since.
No reason to, I already knew I was buying it.
I don't even have the slightest temptation to look.
I'm not sure why anyone would, unless they were unsure about buying the game for some reason.
Once I decide to buy a game I'm done looking at things on it, official or leaked, either one. There is no point in looking, I'll see it all when I get the game, whether that is next week with Fallout, or a year or two away with some other game.
oh wow, I hadn't heard of that issue and I check the preview forums regularly.
There is one way to avoid it, dirkdady, but a bunch of people would throw a fit if they ever actually did it.
Make the game digital only, at least at launch, then ship to stores later.
Yeah no kidding. I'm the same age as her. :(
I think most of the claims about improved speed revolve around the use of the guide and getting to main things you would access while playing.
Quick access to friends and party and messages, without having to wait for separate apps and snapping and unsnapping.
I don't think individual app loading times was ever really what they meant when they talked about it being faster.
That said, the apps that I use, (which admittedly isn't a wide...
All along throughout the preview it hasn't been recognized, or just with the latest update?
I can't comment as I don't own any games on disc to test, but I don't recall hearing anything about install times changing with this update.
What kind of bugs are you still having? Mine has been basically perfect for the last couple of weeks.
It isn't "milked" for anything.
They have been steadily adding stuff to the game. If they WEREN'T adding stuff to do then everyone would complain about that and quit playing.
If it isn't for you, then that's fine. But complaining about 70 or 80 bucks (less if you waited and got it all at once) worth of add-ons or whatever it has been so far seems like making a big deal out of nothing.
Everyone knew going in to thi...
I can't imagine buying a strategy guide in this day and age with the Internet being what it is.
I can find the same info on my phone in less time than it would take to find what page it is on in the guide.
I guess it's just a collectible thing.
Because somebody could do a dance you couldn't do?
Makes sense.
VR is going to flop hard. I've been saying it all along and I'll keep saying it.
If it turns out that I'm wrong, I'll gladly eat my words, but I don't think I have anything to worry about.
It's too "anti-social" to sell to the mainstream audience. By putting on that headset you isolate yourself from your entire "real-life" surroundings.
Considering the vast majority of gamers, (especially the on...
Sono421 that's the second time I've seen that exact same post from you.
It's just as wrong and biased now as it was the last time, too.
There is nothing wrong with the bumpers. You are either holding the controller wrong or pressing the bumpers wrong. They are NOT meant to be pressed up towards the center of the controller, that is where the hinge is that connects the button to the controller. What you are doing is like trying to push a door op...
It shocks me how many people have that "play it once and never play it again" mentality.
I go back and replay old games all the time. There are a bunch of games I've replayed probably a dozen times.
Fanboys love that disagree button.
I would love to see a counterpoint as to why removable batteries are bad, besides the usual pointless argument of "What is this, the 90's? It's 2015, get with the times, MS..."
Give me some tangible reason, even just ONE reason, that having a built in battery is better than one you can swap out.
I've yet to see it from anyone.
Commentator and U4One, thank you for backing me up.
But as you can see by my agree/disagree ratio, the fanboys don't want to hear anything that isn't "Sony's way is always the best!!".
And thank you for bringing up the iPhone example, I've used that one myself before. It can really be used with almost any gadget. Go to Cnet or another site that reviews gadgets and find me one that has a built in non-replaceable battery that they co...
"If devs could get 60FPS @1080p, they would."
No they wouldn't. They would add more graphical effects, and make the game look better, and it would still be 30 fps and/or 900p.
Lmao, you people are still championing the idea that removable batteries are somehow a con instead of a pro?
Being able to use any kind of battery you want is a huge plus. Myself and a lot of people have a supply of rechargeable batteries already. So I use them. When my battery warning pops up, I pop the controller open and pop in new batteries and I'm done.
No plugging in wires. No switching to a different controller like I have to do on the Playsta...
Mad Max was 1080 on both, so I'm a little surprised.
