Yes collectibles do add replayability, but that's exactly the problem with trophies. Ever since trophies/achievements have been implemented this gen, its been an excuse for many developers to skimp out on adding more content since the trophies themselves seem to add it. Just look at the rapid decline of campaign length in the majority of games. And multiplayer is not the only reason why, some SP only games are short as hell (La Noire I beat in 16 hours and its supposed to be a sandbox gam...

Lol @ the comparison. Its like trying to compare apples with rotten oranges

^ well said. That should shut up the people bitching that the MW3 version was from xbox 360. Even if it is, maybe that's the best version since they chose to show it

I'm willing to bet you anything that the PC version of mw3 won't fall too far from the console tree.

I find it really hard to believe - even in a videogame universe that ONE MAN can presumably fool and manipulate the most powerful countries in the world. Comon, at least make it a group of people..but ONE MAN? Jeez..

Don't get your hopes up. As a matter of fact, the difference between the COD games for ps3 and xbox have been increasing. MW1 had almost no differences, World at War had a few, MW2 had lots, BO had A Sh**load!. MW3 will probably have as many as it has explosions

The trailer reminds me of a Micheal Bay movie. A fun one time experience, but nothing even remotely praise worthy.

I don't get people bitching about trophies. People never complained about that sorts of stuff back in the Ps2/Gamecube days. Hell most SP games then had campaigns much longer than the 8-10 hr standard set this generation.

People are so ungrateful and just love to hate.

that's what they said about MW2 and Black Ops. And look what happened there

Well i just watched the trailer and the gameplay looks fun, but the graphics don't impress. They look almost identical to MW2 with a few minor improvements. Probably going to borrow the game for its SP campaign. It won't even be worth a rent since the Sp will be 5 hours long

Yeh world war 3 along with cliched progatonists/antagonists and oh don't forget: lots and lots of explosions to make the game cool. Plus if you play alot, you unlock the rank of Master Sergeant of the Sergeants to the Extreme!

Do they seriously need a sequel for every friggin game? Why not use the money and technology from LA Noire to make another new IP.

just because he thinks otherwise of the game doesn't mean hes young. Your comment doesn't sound as smart as you might think

Not sure what you consider a flop, Infamous 1 sold 2 million units, which is considered a success. If you mean that this game won't sell as much as it should, you are definitely right. The majority of mainstream 'gamers' aren't the smartest when it comes to purchasing quality titles. Just take one good look at the success of COD

seriously? The game looked terrible in the previews

Wow that video really is not funny at all.

i'd prefer to compare Patcher to a normal every day politician rather than a gamer. Why? Because most of the time he lies through his teeth

I'm getting Cake Mania 4. Now THATS a game!

Its seems this game is amazing, but not the godsend it was hyped up to be. After all, lets remember that this game was in development for 7 years, and was praised to revolutionize gaming. I guess that's what hype does - create false illusions
