Nintedo needs to do this to as doing so will make us buy watchdogs on wii u instead of ps4.
I agree with you. You dont need uniqe hardware to make innovative games. It just makes it easier. What the gamepad offers in this game is not revolutionary but it improves the game. I dont expect more.
The gamepad isn't the kinect. The gamepad improves games and enhance the gaming experience and the kinect doesn't. Some games on the wii u doesn't use the gamepad and that is sad but some games use it extremely well. Just look at zombie u. If more games used the gamepad then it would have been a different story.

That's why I like the wii u (and xbox one). The wii u improves the GAMES and make them more fun. New and improved gaming experiences is what every gaming company should aim for!
I only have two complains. I want to be able to join my friends game from the wii u software and I want folders! Other than that the wii u is awesome!
Sadly enough graphics and power is all gamers want these days. Even if xbox one is awesome, ps4 will be in the top.

Yes. Nintendo only failed in the marketing. The wii u is awesome and it knows what it wants to be. A gaming console made with gameplay in mind. PSV is different. That's why it failed to compete with 3ds. PSV doesnt focus on gameplay/gameing.
Maybe the gamepad innovation appear in battle mode?
I got bored of cod. I got bored mario kart 7. You can have the same formula for a long time as long as you bring new stuff with every game. You don't have to change mario kart (as you said) but you can allways make it better. That's why I got bored of cod. Sports is another thing though. Isn't nintendo games about innovation?
If it isn't broke. Why not release the same game every year? You can allways improve a game by including more features and content. If you release the same game every year you are going to get bored. I agree with you in a way but even if the game is very good you can't just stop innovating. Eventually you will get bored of the formula and nintendo needs to do something new and throw mario kart in the trashbin. But that is not today though. Nintendo aren't idiots. I am sure they know what they are doing or maybe they haven't revealed all the gamepad features jet. Ether way I trust nintendos decistion.
