I think FFv13's dev time is going on for like 5 years now. Personally I say screw FF13-2. FF13 disappointed me and I don't wanna see FFv13 pushed back because of it.
Maybe this is what the franchise needs. A little reality check for the devs. You can't just screw around and release a crappy product just cause you know people will eat it up.

The Wii is a friggin beast is all I can say.
They would, and MS has indeed announced that Kinect is selling extremely well. But for those territories that haven't quite gotten into Kinect yet(like Japan), you shouldn't expect MS(or any company for that matter) to admit that their product is struggling in that particular area cause it makes the product look weak. As far as they're concerned, Kinect is doing just fine everywhere else, and to MS that's as good as saying its successful everywhere.
Xbox is strongest in the US. So Kinect selling well in a region where the Xbox is more popular is no big surprise.
