I have some trusted sites where I go to to read reviews. My process is usually: read review first, go watch some walkthrough on youtube, if I like both then I consider a purchase.
Wanted to go into game development too, but then after 3 years of computer science, realized it wasn't for me. Now I just wanna be a lawyer lol
*SPOILERS*
Nathan Drake's real name isn't really Nathan Drake ;)
Publishers fund the game though, so no publisher = no game and then we're back to square one.
This was the year I almost robbed a bank lol.
I've never seen a Halo title score this low. If there is can anyone show me?
Well, for starters, I'd appreciate some professionalism from reviews, even if they are just opinions. This reads like something I'd write if I rushed a book report in 6th grade. There are hasty generalizations everywhere, and none of them get explained too. I get more info reading a Greg Miller review than I could ever get reading this using a microscope. God, spoilers too. I knew there would be but really, if you need to resort to spoiling the game this much to get your point across ...
What pisses me off most is a C/A is just a passing score. I mean think about it...Uncharted 3 just passes. wow.
whats a Modern WarEfare???
20 years ago this question would've been 'when does too damn hard become impossible?' lol.
O.T.
I really think it depends on the game mechanics. A game can be designed really poorly and it'll lead to a very disappointing experience.
I'll settle for an HD collection Konami!
^^I agree. I also wanna see Harmonia, Hikusaak, and the Sindar mystery solved. There's so much backstory that Konami can use but they just leave us hanging.
I remember a time when people didn't need a score to get a game.
It sure was a revolution till it became a revolutionary way to stagnate something.
I think you've got it wrong. I was just following your line of thought man. Its confusing when the first part of your post says that hype is merely opinion and then following it up with insinuating that u3 is more than just hyped and passing it off as fact.
^^
"What's "overhyped" to one person, is not "overhyped" to another."
..then following this logic, could I (and a lot more people) say Uncharted 3 isn't riding the hype train?
"It aims to encourage car culture, celebrate a love of cars and community and overall, be a great gaming experience"
While true, I fail to see how GT doesn't do this for its fans as well. Also, GT never lost its place, Its a sim above all else. We've known this since the first GT came out, how come its not enough for GT5?
No it isn't. . . Its a steal!
This can't be for real, someone slap me.
Turn it on.
