The only lead the 360 has is in the United States. Europe is Sony's territory as well as Japan. The U.K is the only place where both companies are side by side.
In Japan, Sony has a two million lead over Microsoft. Microsoft can't even break a million sales in Japan. They've been getting a few victories here and there but not enough to beat Sony.

Cheaper doesn't always mean better, and the games on the 360 are NOT for everyone. Not everyone is going to buy a 360 for the sake of Gears 2, Left 4 Dead, or Banjoo Kazooie.

That's highly unlikely but if it does come, enjoy your gimped port because I guarantee Konami would have to cut a lot of things for the 360's version. PS3 fans would still enjoy the true version on the PS3. You knew that sooner or later, PS3 fans would have their day. You *knew* that this FUD would not hold up. With the piracy going on with 360 games, among other things, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft drops 360 owners and start working on their next console by 2010.

I agree Pirate Thom. They're more focused on making the PS3 the best of the best right now. I believe there will be a pricecut by next year, hopefully if this economy holds up.
And I can see 3rd party developers paying more attention to the PS3.
I also agree with you lastawakening, except that it was Nintendo that first drew me in. Then Sony drew me in further. I would play my PS1 nonstop because the system was that awesome, not to mention my uncle's PS2.

I find it laughable that 360 fans depend on scores to depend whether a game is bad or not instead of just playing the game for themselves. They listen to others attack the game rather than using their own judgment.
