I kinda agree with that. The PS2 is a great system, one of the best systems of all time but I think it's really time for Sony to close shop on it and focus primarily on the PS3.

I don't understand this Wii phenomenon but I do know that Nintendo are laughing at Sony/Microsoft and are rolling in cash right now.
But then again, their first party games are the only ones pushing the console. Third party isn't even making a dent right now.

Personally, I think CNN are full of crap and they were blowing things way out of proportion. While it's true the PS3 does need to drop in price and perhaps Sony needs a major revision in their management, spelling doom and gloom is beyond ridiculous.
Just because Sony isn't dominating this generation of gaming, doesn't mean that they've screwed up so bad that they might as well give up on the PS3 and call it a failure.

I think Sony spent too much of a fortune with the PS3 got it to fail.
And tatotiburon, don't count on the PS3 being hacked. It's a very well built console and I can imagine it will make it tough for hackers to crack.

I never hated the 360 completely, just Microsoft's tactics and the failures of the hardware.
Can't deny their software is impressive, though.
People these days don't bother with research. You can get a PS3 for a reasonable price if you shop around.
As long as Ninja Blade is awesome, I look forward to seeing Microsoft's lineup for next year.

Raimon, if Sony could drop the price...don't you think they would have? The PS3 is a very expensive console. All of the components inside of the system are expensive as hell. That's why Sony are slow to dropping the price. If they drop the price, they would sell more but won't make a profit.
I will be the first to admit that they did lose a lot of money concerning the PS3.
They will drop the price in due time but not from a petty console war's point of view.
The Wii came out before the PS3.
