It makes sense, Destiny is a cash cow that will remain on all platforms and will be continually supported while Bungie have new IPs in the making probably PS/PC titles. Sony will make that money back and more in the long run. Bungies value has been on the up the past year or so.
It’s a large price but a very good deal for Sony, they get Destiny which has a huge player base. There’s a new IP called Matter in development due in 2024/2025, Sony are getting one of the best FPS devs in the business. Also MS were in talks to purchase Bungie but they turned MS down, opted for Sony and this deal has been 6 months in the making.
The King returns in all its glory.
I’m playing through the first one on PS5, I bought it when it came out but never finished it, never got the time.
These purchases ruin the industry.
Can’t wait, looks great.
Shhhhh 🤫🤫 your not allowed to talk sense around these parts.
So this is how gaming dies, with thunder applause.
Keep pumping out those lies Phil, it’s what your best at.
I can’t stand Disney and not can a lot of the world and MS will be the same.
MS say a lot of things, a company built on lies from liars like Phil.
Sony don’t have the money for a deal like this correct but they do have more then enough for other publishers if they choose, say Capcom,Take 2, Square etc.. Sony have just over 40Billion in cash for investments.
Another blow to the industry that’s slowly being monopolised by MS. I honestly don’t care much for any of these IPs but I feel for those who do play them. So much for good old Phil stating that MS won’t be locking games out of other platforms.
What a joke MS have become, they have to purchase big 3rd party developers to remain relevant, I don’t care what company you are big 3rd party devs should be of limits to all.
to this day as an F1 fan that Abu Dhabi GP sickens me. Masi and those so called race directors took the title away from Lewis, for the first time in a long time people have lost faith in F1 and the sport is permanently damaged thanks to Masi and his crowneys.
Rachet,Returnal,Kena, these games kept my PS5 busy, so thats the console that had the best 2021 for me.
I understand your point but from what I’ve seen PD are still very much interested in unusual cars like for example the Lamborghini Espada or the recently unveiled news about the Renault Avantine, also look at the cars that come from the Sema shows in vegas, all unique cars, some not particularly quick, nor do they stand out but it’s there oddness of inclusion that makes GT unique and PD are continuing this trend much like previous numbered titles. I’m looking forward to GT7, I hope to see you ...
PS5 was my go to console for gaming in 2021, anything else was on PC.
The absolute king of racers for me, congrats PD on an incredible franchise, I can’t wait for GT7. I have the 25th Anniversary edition preordered.
MS got robbed on that deal.
