Yeah roughly 6 months to fully model a car back in the PS3 days, I’d say it’s a little less now but your right, still very time consuming.
Agreed especially when you consider the PS5 DE is only $400 and is the same spec as a PS5 all be it without a disk drive. The SS is an extremely poor choice from MS, why they didn’t just offer an SX without a disk drive for $400 is beyond me.
No doubt it will be patched in the future, probably 60fps with RT and a reconstructed image maybe 1440/1800p
A game needing an online connection isn’t the same as a console needing to always be online, it’s complexity different and the thing is a simple patch at the end of GT7s life can enable it to be played once the servers are shut down just like Driveclub for example.
Not necessarily, a simple patch would allow you to play GT7 after the servers shutdown.
I understand some people don’t like this but I’m fine with it. Back in the GT5/6 days racing online was fun up until most people starting modifying saved data and it ruined the online, with an always online connection this will no longer happen. Overall I’m very excited for GT7, there’s lots of good things about it, I find some people feel the need to campaign against GT7 over the smallest of things, that’s just my opinion of course and to each there own.
This could be changed by the time the game releases so that’s why I said wait and see.

True but PS1 architect was completely different to PS2 as was PS2 to PS3, PS4 and PS5 are like PC, a low end (PS4) to high end (PS5) so scaling isn’t an issue and you still get great results across both plus games especially AAA are not cheap to make so having a larger base of players to sell to is a no brainer.
Makes complete sense, 115 mil PS4s out there less then 12 mil PS5s and people can’t get there hands on them.
Why do you feel the need to bring this up, I mean things change, it happens besides they weren’t lying with the likes of Rachet,Returnal,destruction all stars,demon souls etc.
Hilarious as all the England team play on PlayStation and PlayStation is one of the biggest sponsors in European football, has been for years.
So the new PS5 isn’t worse but nice clickbate, a smaller heat sink yes and a small temperature rise however a better cooling fan and heat exiting the console quicker is a good thing, no doubt the temps are operating within there normal window and the heat sink is performing as it should, NX gamer stated it’s not worse then the original PS5 and that Evans is full of shit.
