I understand if your friends loves the game but people I personally know hate the game, all of us got so bored, we all failed to finish the game. Some of us are pretty die hard RPG fans too. I even have a few friends who opt not to buy it because it was linear.
The difference is GT has a prestige around it and when it comes to damage, PD wants to show the actual engines and etc.
Also, if it is indeed a DLC, remember that Microsoft does not welcome free DLC.
So I don't see why publisher/dev should hold back on PS3 owners if they have stuff they want to give out for free.
It's 16 racer on a track. I hope they have rank matches so it can eliminate noobs and nfs racers from online matches.

I much prefer to wait for a finish version with everything on the disc than to have 50 different DLC with each one at least $1. I'm glad Sony isn't exploiting their customers unlike Microsoft and Activision.

Don't rush. Keep an eye on slickdeals. 2 months ago, Best Buy had the G27 for 150, and about 2 weeks ago, Amazon had it for 160. I haven't seen any good deals on G25 in ages.

Yes, and that introduce a whole new scam. You have some "random" person who walk up these scammers who walk away with the "random" person's cash. The scammers disappears, and now Walmart shall pay the "random" person x amount of money, he or she was tricked into losing.
Then the "random" person will meet up with the scammers, and suddenly they are x amount richer.
