I think LBP will do just fine in Japan but I personally believe the sales for White Knight Chronicles will be higher than LBP in Japan.

The core packaging isn't going anywhere. It's to lure people who only look at price tag. Once those people get sucker in or become more hardcore gamers, they will realize they need harddrive, Live, etc. Which they then have to pay at ridiculously overcharged price. Microsoft wins, consumers loses.

The best part is 320Gb goes for 50-60 quite often if you go on slickdeals a lot. Harddrive only gets cheaper for the PS3.

Couldn't agree more. Sony is a business, they need to make some money and besides I think they will drop the price when they are ready. In the mean time, I've seen a lot of PS3 deals. The best deal I've seen recently can score you a 80gb for $240. I've gotten my PS3 new for $250 at a best buy. The PS3 can be cheap, just have to be a smart shopper.
Agree, and I don't see any reason why people would purchase a SD tv these days. For $100 or $200 more, you can get a pretty decent HDTV.

It makes perfect sense to build a product that last a long time. Just because the technology is out of date doesn't mean it should just stop working. Personally, I feel fanboys keep these console wars interesting. It can get annoying at times, but very amusing to watch. The benefits of fanboys keeps the good qualities/features alive. It's okay to live in fantasy land and greatly underestimate the PS3. While I'll stay in reality, and enjoy all that the great and working features of the PS3.
