It's a team based game which is suppose to be about team work not who has the biggest e-peen.
I much rather play with someone who has 50 kills and a thousand death that knows the importance of teamwork such as helping capture objective or supporting the team than some jerk with 500 kills and 1 death camping all day while the team loses each objective.
It's why I enjoy the older BF titles over other FPS. Not sure about BF3 as I want to see conquest...

I love the fact there isn't a K/D ratio. I hate those things since it encourages players to act like Rambo. Always in it for themselves instead of taking chances and helping the team.
But again, I think this will win over those who are more teamplayer which is fine by me.

One of the reason why so many conflict arise is because more often than not, both side fails to take the time to understand the other point of view. Once that is establish, then the two side can work together to find a middle ground towards a better future.

It all depends on the gamer and their friends. Now I have friends who are probably just like him. One of my friend is getting MW3 over BF3 because that's what his friends are playing.

Never got the importance of trophies. A good game is good regardless if it has trophies or not. I've lived and game through many years without all these achievements/trophies nonsense so the lack of trophy isn't a deal breaker.
