Me too, I really really want to buy it Day 1 but I couldn't justify with all the DLC milking. I just can't put my money down on something like that even if it is Batman.

I am going to wait for the GOTY edition for a more complete experience especially since in the next 4 weeks, I'm going to be get 4 different games.
That's disappointing. I have yet to buy VC2 as my PSP1001 is too old and been meaning to replace my PSP with a PSP3001. But I do aim to get the game eventually. Hopefully they will bring VC3.

I miss the day where preorder bonus means awesome goodies, extra contents are unlockable by beating the game at hard difficulty or collecting all the in game items, and extra contents are usually expansion pack with huge amount of extras.

I wouldn't paint BestBuy that bad but they did screw up. I trust BestBuy with my preorder more than I'll ever trust GameStop. Still haven't forgive them for that screwing me with my Valkyria Chronicles preorder.
In terms of gaming deals, Best Buy offer better deals way more than gamestop or walmart.

Raven Studio tried a similar stunt back in 2009 with Wolfenstein except the goal was to beat Madden 10 for the month of October and the game will be free.

10 million is insane as not too many games even make it to 5 million sold on day 1 let alone 10 million in a lifetime. I don't know too many people willing to fork up $33.90 for an indie game eithe...
This site doesn't give all the details but there is a catch. If they don't get 10 million preorders, you pay $33.90 for the game.
If they do get 10 million, everyone pays $1 and the charity only gets $1 million.

Hahaha, yeah, I joke with friends how Pokemon is really just dogfighting cutsify. I also had a rant about in the world of pokemon, it's a pyramid scheme as many of the trainers do nothing but battle each other for a living. Freshblood brings in money from moms and are too noob to win. Slightly more experience will pray off of those noobs, and the more experience on the slightly more experience and so on.

There is always something for a child to be "obsess" with for every generation. The whole point of parents is to keep those kind of thing under control.
You can apply the same idea that books are having a negative impact on kids who are bookworms. All they do is read all day and aren't running around outside.
