I wish SFIV would have a 360 and PS3 crossover. But this fight will be interesting.
I too am getting all 3. Well, maybe on Agito. But I am definitely looking forward to Versus. I enjoyed the Kingdom Heart series a lot but then again I'm a Disney fan and something my gf enjoyed.
FFXIII looks great but I say FF with a M rating is even better.
Yeah, others seem to associate Versus to Sony fanboy for some odd (not really, probably just fanboys being fanboys) reason. Don't worry too much about the bubbles. Here's a bubble to help you out.
Yeah, that picture gives me the chill every time I look at it. It's just freaky.
I agree, I recently started to play LBP because of the MGS pack coming soon.
@gaffyh
Don't worry, Japan is probably waiting for the FF pack. MGS has always been bigger in the Western area.
Pirates and Hackers UNITE!!! There is injustice in the internet.
Unfortunately, these problems will not go away overnight and definitely not within a 1 year time. We still haven't hit rock bottom yet aka depression. We are still currently in recession which means things are still going down hill. I say give it about 4-6 years and things will be fine again.
Like it or not, there is nothing we can do and nothing the companies can really do. This is normal. It happens in all recessions worldwide. People just have to bare with it till we get into expansion/growth period.
This is normal. After the depression, companies will start hiring massively. Then once recession hits again, the cycle repeats. It's all part of the vicious business cycle of life.
Exactly, and if you really want to go further, rent Blu-ray.
This article is just flamebait. If we compare quality, Netflix will lose. If we compare convenience, Netflix is only convenient to a small group. If we compare pricing, renting a Blu-ray and renting on Netflix isn't far off. If we compare content, Blu-ray.
True, but I believe what ultimately destroyed HD-DVD was exclusives. Blu-ray had the better exclusives, and Warner offered HD-DVD the chance to become exclusive but reject which Blu-ray swipe. This then lead to Walmart's decision to only sell Blu-ray which killed HDDVD.
My reason for going Blu is because of Disney. I know a lot of people who went Blu for Disney.
But that doesn't explain how the PS3 conquer the HD-DVD. The cheapest BR would be the PS3 going for 400. The cheapest HD-DVD player was going for 200 and 150 on the 360.
So, in theory, the HDDVD player should have won if it's about price.
In a ~1-2 hour time to download a movie, I could walk to a store and back with a bluray. As for pricing, it's rental on Netflix, so I don't know if he can factor price into this.
On Blu-ray, I own the movies and lend to friends. I can't do that with Netflix. As for Blu-ray getting destroy, it's pretty hard to destroy a bluray disc especially with that scratch resistant layer. As for losing a Bluray disc, you have to be a messy person to do that, most people i know keep their movi...
If I remember correctly HD-DVD players fell down to $200 and HDDVD going on sale more often. So I'm not sure what this guy's point is that the PS3 was cheaper than competition.
I hope there will be a collectors edition in the US.
Am I missing the joke but isn't he Korean?
Disney do have the best qualities. I don't know if you're saying Ice Age is disney or not, but it's Dreamworks btw.
I think it's more of the fact that the media and a lot of fanboys have this hate on Blu-ray because people seem to think Sony when Blu-ray is mention. I understand where you're going at with the fact that standalone BD player are cheaper than the PS3 and those who want BR will just buy a standalone BD player but as BR become more mainstream, the cost to put those laser and the cost to manufacture Blu-ray disc will be lower which will lead to price cut on the PS3. Sony, as we seen in the past,...
Ace Ventura, I love that movie.
If that's the case, I'm waiting.
No one needs or want another format war. It's over, it's been over.
