That's a really old quote so you can stop using it now. This 5 year development plan for GT6 makes sense and it's coming from the latest Playstation Magazine.
How do you expect someone to make a DRIVING SIMULATOR in 2.5 years? that's just absurd. Do you have any idea how much effort goes in to making a simulator to begin with?.
Using your logic GT6 should take 2.5 years, GT7 1.5 years, GT8 3.5 months etc...

The only thing that pisses me off about GT5 are the environments, they look like complete crap! Why couldn't they utilise any spare SPU's to handle the environments? it would've looked 50x's better than what it currently looks like.
I can name three things that would make GT5 or GT6 look perfect: 1) Ray-tracing, 2) realistic environments & 3) realistic/advanced particle effects.
I don't expect them to nail ray-tracing with the PS3 but ...
According to footage I saw it looked like a PS2 game, which is what it's supposed to like.
Just Re-ball it, reflows are flippin useless as the tin based solder balls are obviously still there.
Anyone who has YLOD should take their console to a Re-ball specialists, he will resolder the graphics chip and anything else causing the problem with leaded-solder.
When your PS3 breaks down and your out of warranty you'll be saying the complete opposite.
At first the $300/£250 looked cheap but when my PS3 broke down just recently that price all of a sudden looks too expensive.
My PS3 has been dead for 2 weeks and I can do nothing about it. I've ordered what I need to fix it, but I'm still worried about doing it myself even though I'm a DIY type of person.

I see nothing wrong with this. She's his wife and being married is like signing a contract, she's more important than a PS3 and she's obviously more important to him.
If my wife asked me to this I would do it out of love.
The series needs to be fixed as I think it has more potential than uncharted 3 if done right.
Uncharted is just a flippin playable movie which is why I couldn't stand playing through it again after the first playthrough.
Everything about this game looks good APART from Cole. He doesn't fit the setting of this game at all.
It's like some super model got super powers lol. His new look is really putting me off from actually purchasing this game.
A good character design is also part of good gameplay.
ND better flippin make Jak 4 because they leave all of their IP's hanging without ever finishing them.
They will be upgradeable but it won't be the same as how you upgrade your PC. These upgrades will most likely be very different and affordable.
But then again it consoles might not take that route.
