agreed, this would be very useful on any electronic device, consoles & PC's the most, as in to clean the dust, i couldn't care less about the test

too bad the 360 doesn't do anything at all, before you know it, it just RRoD's ..
the PS3 unlike the 360, does what you said, cleans it self aswel, reads bluray and plays MGS4 AND GTA IV rather than GTA IV only
(don't give me the Halo crap, coz it will come out on PC aswel.. trust me)

the other thing is (if it is to be believed, coz i am only saying what i read somewhere else) is that the PS3 also has a builtin termometer that will shut down the ps3 if it gets too hot.. but dunno if this is a fact
after reading this article.. im beginning to believe this is all xbox fans trying to give ps3 a bad name?
dunno about you but those comments "the blue-ray diode... it burns out in that model of the system" are really fanboy talk..
but then if it is i could understand how sony doesn't know where this error comes from, but then again if it really is a problem (i know i haven't had this problem) doesn't sony replace your PS3 within 7 days if you are still under the warranty...
you know.. i really wonder what its gonna be when the exclusive DLC doesn't sell at all (i know it will get a lot of downloads if its free, but knowing MS its not) but anyway.. wots gonna be after the DLC? my ps3 broke? lol

Linux over windows xp for my regular work, for gaming xp over linux, then TBH i couldn't really care which one comes, Mac OS X or Vista, i don't like either of them!
