Early access has its fans (I personally love the concept as long as it isn't abused). Not since the early days of gaming have we seen such a hotbed of creativity and freedom. That can't be a bad thing.
This sounds really interesting and well worth keeping an eyes on.
I haven't called a winner at all, that's not what I said.
Business in conducted on forecasts and projections, I was saying that ES's projections were probably off the mark.
I think EA already realise their mistake on this. They fully expected the Xbox One to be the market leader, these allegiances will change again in a year or so I would imagine.
Why not?
It's Frugal Gaming, the main ethos of the site is to save money. Older games are cheaper :)
It's always really good to get a female perspective on games.
TLOS was a seminal moment in adult gaming, I can't say I actually found it enjoyable, but it was without doubt the most tense gaming experience I've ever had.
Sometimes I had to witch my console of and take a breather, I was be sweating and not in a good way.
It's not a Tower Defense game like the original, it's a take of the Team Fortress type shooters
I don't have am Xbox One, but I really do like the sound of this. Colour and fun is really needed back in the shooting genre, hopefully the success of this will see more less 'serious' shooters emerging soon.
Silly.
I know for a fact this guy has had sleepless nights to get the review out early.
I was given the code last friday, as soon as it unlocked he was on it and never slept.
He, nor we are doing this for money- like the big sites (like IGN) ,we're doing it because we're gamers and passionate about the hobby.
So I'm not sure why you're putting someone down for working their backside off and accusing them of...
Oh mate. You joined N4G just to say that?
You will fit right in here :)
Diablo III felt like it dragged for hours before any spark kicked in.
I was really underwhelmed with Diablo III, even more so with the arrival of Torchlight II.
But this does sound very cool and a cracking review.
So if someone knocks some hardware, you're a fanboy?
But by the writers own admission, he was a massive Xbox 360 fan. Also, I imagine that a 'fanboy' wouldn't buy an Xbox One, let alone fork out £1000+ to get it working as the writer did.
An another note....
So if someone knocks some hardware, you're a fanboy?
But there are many Opinion- yes OPINION pieces on N4G today criticising games and listing th...
Which would be why it's an opinion piece, a comedy one. It made me laugh at least.
Where's Amaterasu!?
Everyone's going to be peeved their favourite isn't up there, but a brilliant and well written piece.
It's a game that has divided opinion so much, not for quality, simply for price.
I think with the scourge of microtransactions and the like, gamers are on guard about being ripped off.
Was you hoping for Toast Master?
I was hoping this game was going to be a cracker. I hate to admit ,I still want to try it.
It has to happen.
I can't believe they're missing that trick, with Jack The Ripper as a psychotic Templar. I'm in.
It's an incredible experience. In my 30+ years of gaming I don't think any other game has given me the highs, the lows, the scares, the moments of genuine hair-tingling tenseness that DayZ does.
I always find it fascinating (leaving the game aside), our views in the west with the Japanese cultural themes of sexuality and ermmm.... nearly not adults.
It is cultural, but it does irk.
There are some scenes in Persona when the schoolteachers are a bit lecherous towards the kids, but it's done in a non-judgemental way..
It's a weird one.
