Nuts!
An absolutely brilliantly written review. Nut not only that.
THE GAME!
I really cannot wait to try this out, sound superb and hasn't had the coverage it sounds like it deserves (yet)
I've always found those sorts of people weird to be honest.
Looks like a nice time-filler and a decent price as well.
Really well written, best preview piece I've read on this game and I want to buy it.
What's the future in terms of longevity in this game?
One of my favourite Arcade games, beaten only in fondness by Galaxian. I might invest as well.
Reading this and thinking about the games potential, it reminds me of Timesplitters.
Insofar as it could evolve (depending on user creation), one batshit crazy shooter. This is one I want to see evolve.
Nothing gets the interwebs stained knickers in a twist more than..... well, they're always in a twist (and always very stained)
lol A dull man with a spidertank is still a dull man
The biggest thing that puts me off is mentioned in the review, the dull lead character.
I will give it a pop when it reaches £15
I read the review and it didn't sound harsh at all, sounded like she really loved it. Since when is a score of 7 considered harsh? 7 out of 10 denotes a really good game, no?
Scores lead to laziness and people don't even bother reading what's being said.
It's a cracking review, but I have issue with you saying it's a party game, not a competitive one.
I can use science to back me up. we had a games night the other night and the same two cretins won every match.
He has terrible fashion sense though. Jack Tretton always looked dapper, he's no Jack Tretton,
Am I right girls? Huh? Huh?
If you read the piece you might find out what the author's opinion is. The writers don't write the headers, the editor does.
I can see maybe some of the raw edges have gone from the previous games (and they bought a dark ambience of their own), but yes. This game is sill an absolute classic.
It does sound really good. Hopefully it will make it to consoles and handhelds.
Nice review, some 6/10 games have been my favourite games.
Reviews for this have been all all over the place, I really do want to give it a pop though.
I will assume you only read the headline, not the article?
I've come over something, that's for sure.
