My PsP and load of bargain priced RPGs I got on ebay is my go to. Otherwise my phone is all I need to mindlessly waste time away from home.

I am currently enjoying Monster Hunter Stories on my 3ds but after that I’m pretty much done with it. My kids play the Switch portable but I never play it on the go.

8 was the best. Best card game, best main character development, beat dance scene, great music, best weapon/gunblade. Watching all those kids who played FF7 as their first JRPG whine brought joy to my soul.

Still more content than Destiny 2 and less shady to boot.

Me? Hello no. If they put trading Pokémon behind that paywall I won’t be buying multiple copies either. But what is one more yearly fee added to PS+,Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, Audible, Xlive....why do I have so much credit card debt? Oh and ESO which I don’t even play but haven’t cancelled..

8/10 good waste of time with light story for me. Near perfect scores on the App Store. A single player game meaning there is no rush to finish the game. No leaderboards to spend money climbing, no gotcha characters or weapons and you can earn plenty of gold and gems slowly playing the game for any outfits out want to buy. The problem with the game is you and how you approach it. This isn’t a Netflix binge this is a once a day sitcom to enjoy. The energy system adds to the game so it can slowl...

I like it and there isn’t any gotcha characters, weapons or any other contrivance. You can buy clothes with real money or you can try and play a casual phone game in one day with $100 if you are an idiot. Otherwise stopping in every 1.5 hours for 3 minutes to learn some spells and get some small story is a nice change of pace to the time demanding games I have been playing.

Free online + always the same gen unless Windows murders your game. Every console game ever made ready to be downloaded and played without cute mini $100 consoles, easy hook up through HDMI or Steam Link, an ever growing assortment of Japanese games coming to steam, all MS “exclusives”....

If it wasn’t for having to wait extra time for games like Monster Hunter World and FF15 it would be a no brainer outside of misguided preconceptions about PC costs.

Subtract the games from MS I have on my PC to complement my PS4 and all you have left is the 4K movie player/app machine MS was so hyped about at the start of the gen. I did end up buying a S used for 4K and my backward compatible pile of arcade games.

I do find it annoying that Kratos can punch apart boulders and swing full size trees but needs his kid and a chain to get up a 5 foot cliff face. Or Kratos’s climbing speed, all that strength yet he goes up at a snails pace. I love the game but Kratos ain’t got nothing on Aloy’s skills.

That moment you come to your first blue magic sealed door and before you even inspect it your kid says “still can’t get those doors open” First kid this is the first door I have seen and second I haven’t even inspected it yet. Not a 10.

8.5 to me. Limited enemy types, limited boss types, limited move types. Love the exploring and story. It is a fun game but has a decent amount of things that should keep the scores down but aren’t. Honestly even though I think the 7.5 is too low I think it is more accurate than a 10. Or that moment you come to your first blue locked door and you kid says “still can’t get those doors open huh” before you even inspect the damn thing.

Yes we should and we do. Japanese nudity patches are available day one for most games on Steam that are censored. Be nice if we didn’t need to though since downloading random files from hentai sites isn’t great times.

Well if you stack them up God of War wins because the case is bigger. If it’s on the bottom you can still see how much grander it is and if it’s on top Mario is nowhere to be seen.
