Would love to have the non 3ds version of FFIV on steam for the same reason. The older the rpg the better they age visually in JRPG land.
It is better right off the bat but when you mod your guns you can upgrade stabability for Vats or gunplay from the hip or scope and choose different scopes to suit how you like the site things. It is worlds better and hardly any videos from reviews I have watch use vats more than 10% of the time. Sadly it seems to be part of what gets lost with a more focused attack on storytelling. Would love to see a large dlc that brings back that choice so we can have both worlds. Loving the lore and small stories they laced into the Boston area so far.
Fallout 3 had a laser pistol in the super mart quest right off the bat and a butt load of guns and ammo in megaton.
Fallout has been amazing so far. Ghouls crawling in through windows all resident evil style was the latest highlight. One bug set me back an hour /shrug

Of course in New Vegas you had multiple factions that you chose to support or hate each with their own storylines and conclusions. So yes, knowing that there is an "empire" is saddening and spoilery to the fun I might have.
