Sony's wallet is now a little lighter.

I guess that makes EA a whore?

To a PS3 fan, Little Big Planet is an exclusive. To a 360 fan, Mass Effect is an exclusive. If one was to take "exclusive" by its literal definition then only a few games would fit the mold, most would be in the "gray area" as you say.

In this "Next Gen" and especially on N4G, "exclusive" means: not on the competing platform.

You may not like it. But you better get used to it.

An opinion can only go so far, ergonomics is a science. The Cnet article is pointing out that the 360 controller is the best of the next gen controllers in that department.

You've probably been using the DS3 (or a variant of it) for many years and you are used to it. But for someone with little to no controller experience - the DS3 is awkward its thumb sticks/triggers are ineffective for many games.

But I respect your opinion.

I particularly enjoyed the part about Microsoft and their money and Sony and their attempts to copy the wii-mote. However, you seem to contradict yourself. To get more first and second party studios, wouldn't Microsoft need to spend even MORE money?

And I disagree about the controller part. Playing with the wii-mote for more than 20 minutes is uncomfortable, the DS3 was great 10 years ago, but is simply outdated. The 360 controller by far is the most ergonomically designed. ...

What is it, 23-0 for the XBOX 360?

5919d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

games, online, controller.

You need to make sacrifices for the best. I've had 2 360's break on me...I wouldn't be surprised if the actual failure rate was higher than 60%.

But what other choice do we have? The Wii? PC? Dreamcast? PS3? LMAO, yeah right. Hopefully Microsoft gets the hardware right next gen.

This is the beginning of the end.

Anyone remember when Sony used to be innovative? What happened? You can't follow Microsoft forever.

If you want to handle TIME magazines innovation of the year than you need to have a handle of the Xbox 360.

If Rare can't make a game as simple as Viva Pinata good, then they are aiming far too high with Natal. Let the growing list of other more experienced developers introduce the world to Project Natal in 2010. Find it at your local retailer for the cheap, cheap price of $60 or less.

Why bother getting a PS3 for Uncharted 2 if I can just wait a few months and get it on PSP? There is no such thing as a PS3 exclusive.

The difference here is that there is no legitimate competition for Windows, but the Nintendo DS is obviously a much more complete system than the PSP. So why bother buying either of Sony's systems?

Sony couldn't do what they've done without my CRITICISM. Your welcome. Still a lot of work to be done though, specifically PSN.

Since November 2008 there have been no 14 year old kids on Xbox Live.

They might be there. But I haven't heard them:D

Keep it. If individual developers feel the need to change that for the online aspect of a game, that's fine.

It'll also have the highest number of trade-ins EVER

You 7 million should have rented it. ESPECIALLY you 360 owners.

It's yet another great idea by Sony with plenty of potential but no real substance that will be taken by Microsoft and transformed into something amazing.

Home and the eyetoy are complete failures, but they are the first step in some awesome gaming tech by Microsoft.

The difference is you play games with 360 avatars. You shop to a very limited selection with PS3 avatars. Lol considering no one I know actually uses HOME Sony should probably just hit the restart button on their avatars.

But then again, HOME is still in the beta stage. And the 360 is holding back the PS3. And the moon landing was staged.

(super eye roll)

With the exception of American sales for a few months, the PS3 has outsold the 360 for all of 2009...in all territories.

It's the games, online, controller, etc. that makes the Xbox 360 superior.

But what I think you're getting at is the c*cky attitude all those "xbots" have. This is because the PS2 absolutely crushed the Xbox last gen. Comparing this gen to last gen, it is a mess for Sony and a massive victory for Microsoft.

To be equa...

PS3 games have always looked better...and yet Sony is still in last place.

Focus: gameplay. That's why the 360 is the gamers console of choice.

However, the only way this would really have any effect would be to send this to all the N4G staff. If the rules were enforced on a regular basis and in a timely manner I think this could be a terrific site, but at the present time...

I completely agree with the article - Bungie's innovation mixed with Microsoft's money means those two can do anything. If they keep making gold...I will keep buying it.

Keep up the excellent work guys.
