When did I say "next gen"? This is all current gen.
When I'm on one of my four PS3's playing online, why is it that I can not speak to a friend who is on XMB, or playing a PS3, PS2, or PSN game? Voice communication is the most basic service a console can provide.
Sure, SONY has nice graphics, but until party chat is implemented on PSN, the PS3 is still considered last gen.
And last gen sales don't matter.

The money gained from this could actually make PSN into a half-decent service. Xbox Live would still be miles ahead, but what else can SONY do at this point? PS3 owners have demanded a better online service for so long...SONY now has their backs against the wall.
One thing though...charging for PSN even though the PS3 is now profitable? That's pretty low SONY.

Predator is like the Xbox 360. There may be more Aliens...but the Predator just kicks so much ass.
This is probably why Polyphony delayed Gran Turismo 5...they're scared. They just needed a final polish and a few features Forza 3 had so that they might be able to steal the thunder away from what ever AAA title Turn 10 is working on now.
