It is true. The PC Elite just pirated the games & EA took most of the profit. What a good publisher & PC crowd to sell to, uhm. No wonder they tried to sell on the consoles, but the PC crowd bashed the game publicly and console gamers got the wrong idea. So it never really took off. It's good to see people appreciating Crysis 2 on PS Plus, people realize what a good game it actually is. The game was expensive...Crytek had to sell a lot more copies to go beyond break even.
The comments in here are just plain stupid. Great news. Crytek is a great game developer. It still seems to be fashion to bash Crytek by a bunch of sour PC sink holes. I love every Crysis game till today and i'm sure more people do. Shall we continue to comment on every Crytek article with negative remarks?
And these people are the future of gaming? The Industry should get their priorities straight. All social phone/mobile gaming jiving has been a media bubble, which is about to burst. The Industry wants us to buy these false prognostic & boasted stories about the future of games in the casual areas, because they want to make a quick buck, selling junk to casual 1 day players, instead of making better games and pushing the envelope for the crowd of gamers that will play & love them.
@Summons 75 Untrue, look at Fringe at season 5 now and was bound to be cancelled after 1st season, but FOX didn't do it because they've learned something from Firefly and it's cult following. FOX has changed. I have high hopes for this serie could be real funny.

@StrawHatPatriot U nailed on the Head! People disagreeing with are just plain ignorant or really dumb. Streaming only is the stupidest idea for gamers, we will lose all ownership and control. If the Company stops support we will lose our total collection. Paying for streaming only is just stupid and a horrible future. Digital with downloadable games, i can sort of accept, at least we can play offline.

Face it, They've used us to get a foothold in the gaming community and now they don't care about real gamers/games and want the casual & profit only. The Next Xbox is going to be less gamer friendly and more of the ads/Kinect/streaming crap.
1 thing is certain, he cancelled a kinect game and wasn't fond of kinect games. He praised Valve and had lot's of cool new open world game ideas. Loved Bulletstorm! Still playing it for fun/laughs & to be amazed. I hope they make a sequel. The Unreal Engine 3 was put to some goods use in Bulletstorm. People Can Fly and Epic Rock! It sold as much as Deadspace 1 and they were both not the top sellers in 2008. Deadspace got a sequel, but Mirror's Edge didn't...why is that? Maybe because of DICE working on Battlefield 3? They were obligated by EA to compete with CoD. Do not worry Mirror's Edge WILL get a sequel, EA & DICE love the game and more than a million sales was not so bad back in the day for a new IP.
