Utterly nonsense Pandamobile(1st comment), just look at 'plateau-less' 'prerendered CGI in movies and u know games are nowhere near that quality in real-time, let alone reaching a 'plateau'. Ha, ultra-real physics simulated down to the molecular interactions & neural networks simulated for real A.I. are nowhere the current state of the art....let alone present in games, so no plateau their either...u sir, lack a vision of the possibilities. Exactly... The PC version is definitely nextgen quality...u have to be stupid and blind not to see the graphics quality of Crysis 3 on PC. I think the launch games we will see on Nextgen Console will have this quality for starters and i'm very happy about that...it could have been less.
Games have always been backed by great tech...that i can agree on, but if their games are half decent is just a matter of opinion. I love the stories & their gameplay options and the graphics in their Crysis games(which most gamers here...here on N4G do not seem to understand)and i think the Cryengine is one of the best today. I think their games are amazing too. They have their unique thing going on, which is very hard to achieve these days. Respect to Crytek.

And U could push urself not to run ur mouth at every Crytek/Crysis articles...Crytek make very good FPS, in my opinion more advanced than most current FPSs. Their direction with FPSs is great, so plz stop trying to be the smart guy and wait till u have played the SP of Crysis 3 before dismissing it beforehand...and that goes for most PC Nerds commenting on Crytek articles.
The Reason...was a ignorant mistake, they are some of the best games this gen and will return for certain next gen(at least Mirror's Edge).

Shit is different than last generation. We now have Trophies/Achievements. I want my Backcatalogue to be playable on the nextgen for a long time to come next to the new achievements of the nextgen games. Developers will like it too. Otherwise it will look so worthless if ur game loses it compatibility with every new generation. I want to still be able to play & get Trophies/Achievements for all my games in the future. It has practicality been confirmed by Sony, since Plus will be on the PS4 and all our purchases will transfer to the PS4. The same goes for XBL. I'm confident both consoles will be BC.
