The website linked most likely picked up on the deal from other websites, if they didn't then they happened to report on it late.
Wal-Mart went live this morning near 8am, and Amazon price matched it around 9:50am PST. So the deals have been live for some time prior to going dead.
It was not a typo. It was due to numerous requests to price match the deal walmart.com had for Uncharted 4 pre-order.
Wal-Mart still has it as I typed this.

I would have to do a bit more research, but I don't think they use a universal engine for the Uncharted games. If they used Unreal, as an example, they would be able to start once the engine is made available. If they use a custom engine, which I suspect they do, they have to build it first. Engines are difficult to make and can take several years. So they have likely been making the in-game engine, then will design the game.
What makes you think that the companies won't go after copyright infringement on whatever becomes the next You Tube?
Are they not going after uStream or Twitch?
Think content wise Quest for Booty only slightly longer, but not retail titles longer like Tool of Destruction.
They did indeed. There is a thread over on the official Sony Playstation forums of what to you to get your password reset.
Disable of redeem codes. To many people buying the pS+ cards and adding them to the store creating massive latency?
The need of a CC is not for authorization purposes. When you enter the Code it signs you up for a subscription, which needs a CC on file to bill when the subscription is up for renewal. If you use the code remember to disable or remove the auto renewal on the subscription.
Shuhei Yoshida (@Yosp) had an interview where he explained that they did it for a few reasons, one of which is to concentrate on getting product to the better console markets. But a big factor was that they didn't have a large variety of games that catered to Japanese tastes. They delayed so that more Japan centric games could be made. They are to have 19 games on launch.
It will be side to side for a few months or until the old stock is sold out. Then it will be the new model going forward. Look to the PSP for sales guidance on availability.
Grand Tourismo 6, was played on a PS3. I asked the Sony booth people.
He also missed the section that had Knack and Drive Club.
@golding89
I think you mean $50 a year, not 50 bucks a month.
I might consider going with gamefly for the first year of PS4. But if I still end up not getting anything from my queue that I want regardless of how old or how many I have, I'll drop it again.
For purchases. Physical. Having to download the game to multiple consoles is not fun.
Where is a link or article that states Sony pays, them? I'm interested as I assumed the developer/publisher agreed as they could profit from their DLC sales and not from the downloads of the main game.
There was an article I read today that stated the Movies will be streaming for the first time on a playstation.
It's not going to be an instant click and play for games, you have to download a portion of the game, then you can play, I however have not seem them state how much % that would need to be. I'm sure depending on the game size it could be quick.
It looks like it adds DLC to the Street pass, but I wonder if it adds the ability to get street passes over WiFi.
The units that were "bricked" by 4.45 need to have the firmware on USB and start in safe mode. It won't download while in safe mode, so if you follow the official Sony method you download it. It's helpful to those that want to download it.
With about 10 million PS3s sold in Japan, if what I thought I read as 80 million PS3 sold world wide, it would be a good strategy to put the larger markets first.
I know that Japan is their home market and they usually launch there first, but the last several years have been more handheld centric in Japan. The other markets seem to be generally a bit more console based.
I think you replied to the wrong poster. The link is for Sony and getting sued over the same terms of a class action lawsuit in their revised TOS in 2011.
They pull the numbers out of a hat, more correctly they are auto generated using a formula and calling game stop to find out how many reservations they have on a title. They will never be right, however there are those that feel they are close enough.
I feel it's useful for trolling and flamewars.
