At first glace I didnt see the word "Live". I thought this was about the xbox price dropping to $100 to win the war with free gold service for all users. Now that along with more great exclusive games could win the console war. Increasing the cost of live will just put the xbox in last place and insure it stays there.
i hope its a little more than just the original with enhanced graphics and an option to use motion controls.
PS3 wins only because you dont have to pay for "gold" that to me makes all the difference and why I will choose PS3.
Theres so many variables, skill level of the player, time it takes to figure puzzles out etc. Unless the game is very linear with a very low challenge, the amount of time it takes to complete a game will vary a great deal between players
every 2d mario game can be finished in 6 hours or less if you know it inside out and you dont sidetrack. But the time it takes to master it is much longer. Plus games like this have many hidden goodies that you could play through the game many times and not find them all.
i wish square Enix would at least provide an esimate when they may shut down the servers. I cant imagine the game will be around much longer when FFxiv comes out next year. But who knows.
if sony wants to increase its online sales they should release online titles a week before retail release.
i sure hope the wii 2 allows you to use your wii purchased virtual console and wiiware games and not make you buy them all over again.
im always nervous nintendo will send out an update that will ruin any wii thats moded, a way to battle piracy
i only want games you can get the full experience from in 20 years like I do with my NES games now
i have never used xbox live gold ...its a rip off even if it was $1 a month! always has been, i have A great time with xbox games without it!
playstation should gurantee servers for all its games will have 10 year lifecycles just like its consoles lifecycles!
i cant imagine Nintendo having 3 proper mario games in one year. NSmbwii, sMG2, and another? wow that would be a record. I guess nintendo is trying real hard to make up for E3 08 still.

yes its crazy when you go to the menu with start the world is still active around you you can move around but cant use your weapons and enemies can still come at you. I hope they patch this so you can at least attack or better yet take a breather when you go to the menu at least.
good point really if you think about it the upgrades from psp 1000 to 2000 or 3000 dont really justify $200. The PSP 1000 can do everything the the psp 2000 and 3000 can do. The only differences are screen quality and ascetics.
sony told us all future psp games would be on umd and psn after the psp go launch. They betrayed their fanbase severely.
Nintendo releases key games at landmarks like the 200th which was majoras mask. Maybe it will be released as the 500th game. Would also love to see Conkers bad fur day released on VC.
probably will have most all functions of ps3 thats what it sounds like. My main concern though is will virtual console titles transfer over to new wii? or will you have to buy them all over again. I sure hope not.
