when i watch tv or play games i have a tablet or laptop by my side almost always there i can surf the web if needed on an easier interface so i dont need web browsing on consoles
main reason ...games will be a bigger focus than other features
it means I no longer support microsoft on xbox and will not buy a xbox one. I have 2 of all consoles i own in my house in different rooms and if I cannot play games i own on both of the consoles at no extra cost i wont mess with it.
as a gamer of 26 years ....I want my game consoles to focus on games first. I have a ps4 and 360 but i have never once used them for anything but gaming I have other devices that do those "other things" better.
am i the only one burnt out on call of duty ?
i dont get game consoles to do anything but play games. Dont watch movies on them, listen to music or surf the web. I want them purely for games. I have other devices for the other things that are generally better for those functions.
so you cant play the purchases you made on xbox live for the past 7 years? if thats the case im passing on this machine. I expect my store purchases to playable for life.
ugh i could see the console coming on by accident alot. Nothing beats pushing a button to turn a console on.
kinect and motion controls still feel gimmicy to me. Nothing beats tactile button pushing. I dont like to actually simulate actions on screen a button should do that with gaming
i want my gaming consoles to be about gaming first and foremost and other features second not the other way around
seriously id rather have one console that does it all just have every company make amazing games for it. Just have one "medium" to play console games on. After all it does come down to the games if gamers buy or not.
ive just started to see trophies this last generation as essential to console gaming. It would be so cool for nintendo to put trophy support in clasic virtual console games.

thats the way i feel about ps3. It still feels new to me and hardly outdated at all and "hard to improve" graphically sound abilitys id give it at least another 10 years along with the ps4.
the best exmaple of this is the nes machine that used to be in stores in the late 80s that held around 12 cartridges and you could choose any game and play it as long as your in the store. Good times there.
unlikely for this console to be succesful one issue i have right away with it no pyscial media for games!
I hope we get a new version of vita at E3 with at least 120 gb on board
i think sony has great confidence in vita. Over the last week an announcement was made a major game is on its way to vita.
i was refering to the xbox one to a friend today and he thought i meant the first xbox from 2001 lol. it should be called xbox 3.
