You can mix it up how you want but both consoles have good things about them and bad things. Fanboys forget that without competition either system would not be as good. Fanboys also like to make "facts" up. Check yo self before you wreck yoself.
We'll yes, Samsung is good too, but I am not a fan of Plasma lag, or burn in, and the Samaung LCDs (popular as they are) are not the lowest lag and kinda pricey if you want the top versions.
Really some people are ridiculous. If it were not for competition like Sony and MS who knows where console gaming would be now? Why not like either system.. or both, and that's that. Period. No fanboyism crap.
Oleds have caveats as we'll. Like cost and jutter. I would certainly look at either the Panasonic S60 or the Sony line of LCDs. Good luck.
Yea, I looked at the w900 as well. I stuck with the w802a though because it was cheaper. Sony is certainly aware that gamers are looking at Tv's to go along with their new consoles. LG on the other hand has screwed the pooch. Offering great design and crappy lag and blur. Sony is da bomb..
I just purchased the Sony w802 lcd tv 55 incher, and it is fantastic for gaming. Lowest lag time measured and very good motion. I played Bit Trip Runner 2, on an lg tv and it was unplayable. On my new Sony it's perfectly smooth... And lag free to boot. Great tv.
Who cares about the color I just don't like that it's based on Win 8. It's kinda plain, and boring.
Yes I can see that. I would though if I were you get the cheap version as it's pretty fun. Playing on hard mode makes it better.

Actually my "favorite" controller is the Dreamcast controller. It had a small screen in it that certain games took advantage of. Great controller, on a great system.
I have not seen any official numbers, but from what Amazon, and other internet companies show, I cannot just "believe" that the Xbone has even near the numbers the PS4 has.
True it did not have as much space, but (from what I remember) HD DVD had better "features", that Blu Ray eventually copied..??
From what I remember Hd DVD was actually better than Blu Ray, MS just could not get the install base while Sony were very smart about blu ray including it in PS3. (even though they were losing money) Now that move is paying off in spades.
Ill just play Killzone in the meantime.

*Constant Burn in worries. Yes even in the newest iterations... Also, alot of lag compared to LCD.
*Darker Black level than LCD's but sometimes can be crushing.
LCD = Motion Blur, and some lag...Brighter Whites and higher Contrast Ratios..
