I don't understand why NCAA is always inferior to Madden. Why not just use the same tech in both?

nukeitall, I agree that value isn't strictly about the specs but also its features. Unfortunately, the minority of prospective Xbox One owners seem to be desiring Xbox One's non-gaming features.

When it comes to player AI in a sports game, I find that the MLB games do it best.
I buy Madden, sure. I don't buy it every year. I wait three or four seasons before doing so. I figure that's enough time for a reasonable amount of changes to occur other than just team rosters.
Polygon's lost a lot of credibility with me.
