Who would have thought friendship was such a strong weapon?

I still find this new art direction for the turtles very very creepy.

^^^ Pretty much summed up what I wanted to say too. As hardware improves, graphics improve. It's a simple effect of upgrading. We play videogames for gameplay, not to watch a movie (though MGS3-4 were the best movies I ever played).

It does look very traditional. You run around as a military man and shoot stuff. The only thing impressive about Killzone ps4 were the graphics...that's it. The gameplay is the same! Same goes for BattleField 4!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The FPS military formula is still a strong fad in the west, so I'm sure it will sell well.

Well written, but the score...This game is not a 10/10.

Nintendo needs to show something to make consumers want the console. People still think the Wii-u (Game pad) is an add-on for the Wii! Looking t the wii-u interface too, it's a little more complicated than the wii. What I mean is that casuals might be over whelmed by the controller and what's on screen. Are Casuals that stupid? Sadly...yeah. There are people out there that still don't know how to run in (NES) Mario!

Throwing more money at a game doesn't automagically mean it will be a better game. Why is it that B-games like The Walking Dead and Journey beat out the much higher budget games that came out that year? Most A tier games are rehashes like COD and ASScreed.

Xenoblade and the Last Story offered a pretty good amount of value, imo. Metal Gear Rising was a lot better than DmC:dmc imo, and I think capcom threw more money into DmC:dmc than Kojima with MGR:R (not too sure about ...

It's probably going to be the next Xenogears. The mech battles and over world especially gives off a very Xenogears feel. It may not be as popular as FF7, but it will have a large fanbase that will easily support this game.

Xenoblade was a great game that no one seemed to have played simply because it was a Wii game. Xenoblade 2 might have the same problem. It might be a great wii-u game that no one played. It's really sad when Mario Wii-u, the half-assed mMrio game,...

THANK YOU! Nice review and I agree.

I played through it not too long ago, and while I can agree that the story was pretty good and interesting...the gameplay was kinda bland. I disliked a lot of Dishonored's stuff, but the gameplay was pretty good. It used the magic powers for something OTHER THAN KILLING PEOPLE. This is where Bioshock failed. The magic was cool, but most of them weren't needed. I beat the game with only the possession skill. The 2 weapon limited was ...

Is it a double standard to say that I can tolerate Micro-transactions in a free-to-play MMO than in console games?

I'm like that. I play a certain free to play mmo, but thankfully it's not all pay to win. That certain mmo I play do hold events that lets players win stuff from their cash shop too, like pets or rare clothes. Micro transaction is how they get paid off the game and that I understand.

Where the bull crap starts is with consoles. IMO, DLC ...

I simply disagree. It sounds to me like you want Nintendo to be like M$ and Sony. To have super powered hardware and mature games. The problem with that is that Nintendo is super family oriented. They are the Disney of videogames for the most part. Even if these 3 stepped down, Nintendo will most likely still focus on family friendly games and gimmicks. The market is way too tight between M$ and Sony (and PC) for Nintendo to compete on the same level. So, they just went after another market....

I agree with the score. Seems a tad low for me (my personal score being 8-8.5 out of 10). The story easily deserves a 9/10, but the gameplay wasn't as interesting as Dishonored. What I mean is that Dishonored made you use a bunch of your magic powers to do stuff, Bioshock...I beat the game with only the possession skill. 2 weapon limit sucked, the graphics are pretty but everything in the world is stationary. For example, beach balls on the beach in Bioshock can't be moved...at all. N...

The wii-u isn't a failure at all. It sold enough units so far and all it needs is to show off the new smash bros and mario kart to gain system sales. the Wii-u may not have had the momentum the wii did, but I'm sure parents will eventually buy the newest nintendo branded console simply because it's a brand they trust for their kids. It took a little while for the 3ds to sell. The wii-u just needs games and some time. It's on its own route.

These Nintendo hate...

SAINT SEIYA!

Still waiting for a new megaman game (Not that Xover crap) before even thinking of buying a (new) capcom game. It looks interesting enough though.

If this game has a big roster (like Jump ultimate stars for the DS) AND it has Yugi Moto, I will import it for sure.

The list was looking alright till I saw Lightning at number 1. NOPE! Just NOPE!

There are just several other characters that could easily replace Lightning on that list. All the characters (except for Chell) before her were simply better written and liked. Weren't there a few other female FF protagonists too?

Best game of this generation?
This game is being over-hyped really hard.

There are several iconic voices that were Ear-grating and annoying, but those voices haven't really changed. Donald Ducks voice annoyed the living crap out of me, but Donald duck is not Donald duck without that voice. Same would go for Snake. Hate his voice or not, it's an iconic part of the character at this point.

I don't mind if Hayter is used for Solid snake and younger big boss, but I would like to see him return for future iterations...or at least make a c...

Infinite is one of the few games where America is the bad guy and I liked that. I'm sick of always seeing military FPS games where you're an American soldier shooting all the foreign people (COD/Medal of Honor/BF). The Bulletstorm ad put it best when at the end of their fake game, the main character does a thumbs up with American flags popping up from his thumbs and fireworks after defeating the foreign bad guy.

I'm not Anti-America by any means. It's just th...

Just don't make a female character for the sake of making a female character for a game. Have a good intention for them! I'm glad to see that they want more different character instead of your typical white male hero, but I just don't want to see half-baked characters just there to be there.

Did playing as Joanna Dark in Perfect Dark 64 suddenly make more women pick up an n64? Nope! Did Tomb Raider (2013) suddenly make women pick up a console to play this game? N...

It's really hard to call out a single game for this. This generation was very long compared to the past and no game really stood out as the best of the best of this generation. If I had to pick a game that described this generation (in the west), it would be Call of Duty. Not because it's a good game, but it's a game that influenced a whole bunch of other games in a negative way. RE5-6 and Dead Space 3 being my examples. It was just a military overload and the generation ended wit...
