The author just sounds butt hurt. You can almost feel it in his writing. He just focuses on publishers permission and before that downplays the history of BC. If your a publisher with a catalog of older none revenue producing titles that can suddenly generate a revenue stream again and you don't have to commit resources to make it happen your probably going to check yes for the program. The chance to have old non revenue generating games suddenly start making money again through digital and or physical purchases and the developer doesn't have to lift a finger? Well that's just crazy. Why would any sane developer or publisher do that?
Why aren't the developers funding it themselves with the money they made off of the first game? This just looks like they want a handout. Isn't the goal of kickstarter to help folks who don't have the capital in the first place not help those that already do? With all the complaints folks have about this game I have to say poo poo to you good sirs.
It will probably be one of those games where people just take alot of screen shots of pretty scenery and nothing much happens. How long will it take before everyone says "didn't I see that same rock formation not that long ago?" They can only design so many things that the procedurally generated world can use.
Gaming "journalism" at its best. All you need is a opinion and a computer with Internet and your a journalist. They really blur the lines between journalism and the comment sections. Throw in a massive dose of full screen advertisements and your set.
My Russian submarine history is a bit foggy but didn't everyone die on the kursk? They determined that a torpedo exploded in the forward torpedo room and blew back several bulkheads pancaking the forward compartments. After they raised it they discovered a few sailors in the very last compartment managed to survive only to discover that the escape hatch was fubar thus sealing their fate. Can't imagine the game ends well.

Nintendo is like that kid out in left field digging a hole with a stick. Everyone else knows what they are supposed to be doing and the role they play in the game but not nintendo.
Downloading times vary depending on connection speed obviously. I could download that in ten minutes or less.

Got to say I'm not totally suprised. While not all Japanese are racist there is a inward looking mentality when it comes to the country. They sometimes look down upon "outsiders."
They said the windows 10 update wouldn't happen till later in the year after the launch of windows 10 so I don't think they are prepping it for that.

I'll give a shit about 4k when the infrastructure is there which its not. Hell most HD channels are displayed in 720p still Cause they can't handle 1080p signals for every channel. 4k is a waste of money right now. You can probably count the number of movies on your hand that are available in 4k. It's just a ploy to boost tv sales nothing more.
