I am not sure about this, I just bought Kinect and love the idea of motion controls but I am not sure FPS are ready for this just yet, perhaps with 3D it might make it all worthwhile, but for a first attempt it's still impressive, but we may just have to accept the limitations for now.
I had to question whether or not it was a real person I was looking at from 2.48.
Those are the best graphics I have ever seen.
@jetlian I read your comments and to be honest that's exactly what I saw when viewed the pics, when I viewed the first pic I was like wow! they really improved the look, the I realized I was looking at UC2, I actually fooled myself so that shows I am telling the truth, I don't know why all the insecurity, ND themselves stated that UC3 engine is an advancment of UC1, so by the sounds of that UC2 had it's own engine of some kind, and I prefer that look.
To those who called me a troll for stating I think UC2 looks better in these pics, would you like me to lie? would that make life easier for you? bottom line is your idiots, I speak the truth when I say I think UC2 looks better in these pics, are you so insecure that you would rather someone lie about their opinion just to make you feel better. GROW UP!
If the bottom pics are UC2 then I prefer them.
If it was pound for pound consoles would win because they get pushed to their limits, PC games just up the quality of the effects that are already there, or increase the resolution and AA, until we see proper use of tesselation as one example then all PC's are doing is making things look better, and with the exception of Crysis that tries to push the PC, pound for pound Uncharted achieves more because it has does it with less to work with, PC has the hardware advantage but other than that...
They are totally different games, you don't compare Halo to COD do you? the only reason KZ and Halo get compared is because they are both systems best FPS.
@Raiinstorm81 would you flip if it effects Move sales lol, imagine that, Kinect benefiting from the PS3.
@gamingdroid nothing in that gameradar link states anything about the eyetoy doing everything that Kinect can as Bigpappy suggested, so yes he made that up, and actually the article makes Sony sound concerned, I don't get into the Kinect fails if it uses the controller/add-on argument, it's the best motion capture camera on the market simple as that, they can do what they want with it.
@Bigpappy "Just yesturday Sony was out there telling everyone how they tried every thing Kinect can do with their Eyetoy"
Link? I doubt it, you just made that up didn't you child.
It looks great but I cannot honestly say it looks any better than uncharted 2, and I assume that the AI is not finished or the game is set to god mode or somthing because the guy on the stairs looked like he had an UZI but it had no effect on Drake when he was stuck in the stairs.
@TwistedMetal "now with the ps3 that think looks sexy and mature also has blueray and 3d and such so she let me play that."
She lets you lol, are you given permission to play out aswell?
How is it a war? if it was a war based on artillary/hardware the WII would already be gone, no matter what either side produces it will always come down to the consumer and what they want, wars do not usually come with much of a choice.
You have lots of games coming out for the PS3, brilliant that's great, I will buy one once I can afford one, and when I do it will not be on impulse, I have a 360 and a Kinect for Xmas, and I got it because I like it, not on impulse, there is no console war.
"impulse-buying 360 consumers" lol, so they didn't really want to buy it, whoops sorry I just accidently bought a 360 on impulse, stupid article.
Define compete because both the Ninetendo WII and the 360 are still ahead of the PS3 so how is that not competing, obviously people like them or they would not be buying them, so don't say sales don't matter because they are a direct reflection of what people want.
The Fight Lights Out? I heard that was trash?
@mikeslemonade agreed.
No I meant both, your comment only becomes relavant if MS decide not use any kind of peripheral, only people who want to prove a point think Kinect shouldn't have peripherals, I could argue that if Kinect shouldn't have a peripheral then move shouldn't be using that gun, it should only use the Move controllers, so stop making this a fanboy argument, it is just my opinion that FPS are not fully ready for motion controls.
