Do you mean games or Blockbuster Blu-ray rentals.
This may sound wierd but I could not get 480p on my 360 using componet cables or VGA; I tested my Brothers 360 with the same cablea and it worked fine; I fixed the problem by blowing the dust out of the display connection at the back of the 360 and then it worked fine. Give it a try, maybe there is a dead fly in there or somthing.
Ok the only thing that really impressed me was the cloud, the other stuff especially the 1st video with the rain to me is not much different to the indoor bathroom water scene in Bioshock.
That is easily on par with Crysis Multiplayer.
Sorry but although the game looks a lot of fun I think we are all going bit over the top about the graphics. Sure there nice and I do like the animations of the characters but to get excited about 1,000,000 polygons per ball! Well I just don't get it.
This would be a nice engine for a RPG.
They don't look as sharp, but this could add to the realism.
I don't think they look darker than the Xbox-360 version, my contrast issues were all sorted the day MS gave us the 'reference levels' for the VGA connection, looks much better now.
IMO opinion those screens look about on par with the Xbox-360 version, there are bound to be subtle differnces but clearly the game still looks good.

I would bet good money that the graphics in PGR4 will far exceed GTHD.

Have a Xbox-360 I would be very upset looking at these screens, fortunatly I do have a Xbox-360 so i'm happy.

Weird how you could say somthing but not actually say it... I will take your advise though and go play the games because I actually have some to play.
I have to admit when I 1st got my console I sent it back twice, not because it broke but because it was noisy (i had a small room at the time); So I got it replaced but eventually I did get the red ring issue but MS replaced it no problem; and also they sent me a spare by mistake, so I called them back to let them know and they said keep it. The same thing happned to my nephew and all four consoles are working just great thanks.
Why do you all keep going on about Bubbles; who cars about bubbles; if I get an extra bubble will I get a pay rise from my boss tommorow? I just dont get it.
Sounds like Blueray could have been a good move for Sony but until we see it make a difference to the games I dont see the point in arguing; I bought my console for games, if the games don't do it for me then i'm not interested.
Gears of War is a 18 certificate, does this mean it's adult only? you would assume so wouldn't you, they need to be clear about this.

The Xbox-360 is the nextgen market leader so how is that a ridiculous move. I agree with the guy who said that some of the Sony fanboys are just upset because MS have unsettled the Sony flow; just like Sony did to Sega ans Nintendo...oh how things have changed. I am glad MS entered the game market.
Come on it's just way too expensive period; well done Sony you have a timed exclusive whoopee doo.Now do us a favour; if you want the masses to buy your console bring down the price otherwise my main excuse for prefering the Xbox-360 is that it offers the best value for money.
