People love and want the Xbox-360; we are aware it has had it's problems but we don't worry because we know we are covered; I for one can see myself buying another Xbox-360, one upstairs and one down.
With the new warranty and the great games coming out; the HDMI as standard on new models; Xbox-360 is back on track.
Negative press did a lot of damage but the positives out weigh the negatives and MS are responding to the hardware failures.
Special editions are very popular; I think this will do great and sell a lot higher later for those lucky enough to have one, and why moan about the hard-drive being 20gb; it's a special edition not an upgrade, did Sony upgrade the hardware of the PS2 when they brought out all the different colours did they?

Having said that I don't really need to, this is the point I was trying to make earlier, @bYkICr wants me to embrace the HDMI future which is fine but don't confuse emracing somthing with being technically obsessed; right now my Xbox-360 does the job well enough for me, and if it should happen to bust within the 3 year warranty then no problem I get the new model for free.
VGA looks much better than component; I ditched the component for VGA because component looks rubbish; does the PS3 come with an HDMI cable? no it doesn't so same as me you had to buy a new cable to get true HD.
Regards HDMI as standard it is not needed; it is the public and the industry that have forced MS into using it because people are paranoid without it.
One last thing; I don't normally get upset easily but 'WaggleLOL' you have got to be the biggest nob-jockey ...
dirty I have ever seen; is it good to be a gamer? right now I am not sure; too many fanboys stiring the giant wooden spoon; personally I couldn't care less right now who wins this generation; the Xbox-360 has plenty in the pipeline to keep me happy for some time to come; I could not care less about HDDVD or Blu-ray because the movies are way too expensive anyway; I am covered by the new 3 year warranty so no worries there.

This could be percieved as being racist; but then I thought somthing similar to 'skillednutter' only slightly different; africa has been the home of many a witch doctor and experimenting with the dark arts so maybe the setting is fitting. I have to admit that I can see how some people would find this racist but we must remember that the RESI series has inlcuded different types of race and not singled out one in particular.

if we could all gurantee that our console of choice would continue to be a sucess even if the others consoles are sucessfull then there would not be a problem, the market is getting bigger so maybe there is room for all; but if you spent money on a dreamcast only to see PS2 push it out of the market then you can see where the fanboyism comes from.

Do we really need to go over and over this again, it's nonsence. I too had to send my Xbox back and to be honest was more than happy with the response, my replacement works fine and I am covered by the new warranty so whats the problem.
